According to WWE.com, stand-out NXT tag team The Ascension will be making their debut on Monday Night Raw tomorrow night on the final episode of the year.
This week on Raw, The Ascension will rise. The former NXT Tag Team Champions are poised to hit the ground running as they make their WWE debut, and we’re not sure if their first Raw opponents should be excited or terrified about what lies ahead. No matter what happens when these post-apocalyptic warriors stride down the entrance ramp, the entire roster — especially the tag team division — will be glued to the backstage monitors.
The former NXT Tag Team Champions appeared on an episode of WWE Main Event several months ago, promoting one of the NXT Takeover two hour live specials. They have been rumored for a call-up for months, and have been appearing in vignettes for the last few weeks, hyping their arrival.
No word yet on who The Ascension will face in their first Raw match, but both The Usos and Gold/Stardust are scheduled for a separate live event in a different city, and will not be on the show.

- Oh, hell yeah!
Main Event for 12/29 Raw
The official website for the Verizon Center is advertising the main event for Monday Night Raw as a tag team match between John Cena and Randy Orton, taking on Seth Rollins and Big Show.
This is likely the dark match scheduled to take place after the television taping, but with Randy Orton pulled from this weekend’s live events, his status for tomorrow’s show is still unknown. More often then not, plans for dark matches end up changing at the last minute. We do know that Cena, Orton, Rollins and Big Show are all being advertised for Raw, while half the roster works a live event in Richmond, VA.
