Hasn't Hollywood churned out enough of these "found footage" film concepts? Also is this a sequel to the actual 1976 film or the remake?

I know it mentioned it so I wanted to be sure. It just seems odd to remake the film but then continue in the old film series.

This doesn't look appealing at all. Once a franchise releases a "lost footage" type of film, you know they are reaching far.

SN -- The actual house that these events happened at is pretty freaky to look at if you know the history.

Haven't seen a single Amityville film yet. And I doubt I'll start with this one, lol.

I think they are going with the fact that the remake never happened. I'm not to thrilled about this one. I will probably watch it regardless though. I did enjoy the Amityville series for what it was.
