Anderson has wife and kids. He lives in the states.
Matt Bloom has a wife and kid and lived in the states whilst working for NJPW.
Ricochet lives in the states and has a child.

They work for 2 weeks roughly with all living expenses covered (hotels and travel) for good pay.

AJ would hardly be the first family man to sign for a Japanese promotion if he did.

That's not the point, as I'm hearing AJ just won't leave kids, and it's understandable.

My opinion still stands that AJ's best option is TNA, as he can't make near that much money in either being an indy wrestler again or NXT employee, while at the same time wanting to raise 3 kids.

Because they're morons.
THIS bro. They had allllllll of this build up and great booking for the storyline, just to drop it? Let AJ walk?? I was at least expecting some kind of feud between AJ and the new champ. Nice one Dixie.

He won't go to NXT, they would put him on the main roster asap.

He would spend 6 months MAX in NXT. I say it would be a much shorter sting than that.

Much shorter Sting? You hinting at something Dave?

Yeah I doubt he'd be on NXT at all to be honest AJ is smart and wont get complacent like Hero.

TNA matches are pretty similar to WWE style anyhow, so its not like it has some huge adjustment like others have had.

Why would WWE bother with an almost 37 year old "flyer" from TNA when they already have PAC, Generico and Rollins on their roster, already "adjusted"? I kind of understand them, what's the point? Besides, AJ can always go to Japan as a freelancer, he would get 10-15 dates per month, especially if he joins Shelley in New Japan. But that would mean months away from the family. I guess he can go to ROH and/or work for Gabe Enterprise, UK & Germany, so idk... Staying in TNA and accepting a thiner ontract is the best option for him if he stays in the US.

AJ has signed to wrestle for Dreamwave wrestling in February. On the same date as TNA's Wembley show.

We've noted before how AJ Styles could be done with TNA soon and word is that both sides are still far apart on money. Styles' contract extension with TNA expires on December 16th. As of December 17th, Styles is a free agent and has already begun taking independent bookings through Bill Behrens at showbis@aol.com.
Unless something changes in the next few days, Styles will not be back in TNA. He officially finished up with TNA at last week's Impact Wrestling tapings for episodes that will air in 2014. Word is that it's a situation where TNA just couldn't offer Styles what he had been earning and he wouldn't agree to a lesser deal feeling that he has been a major part of the heart and soul of TNA.
