Can't really comment on some of the indy/japan guys but Punk imo should have been higher, Dolph should be higher and where is John Cena on this list? Angle shouldn't even be on this list let alone that high.

I don't think this list is very accurate, Cena isn't even on the list and Punk needs to be higher.

I don't think it could, but I don't think Hiroshi Tanahashi should be #1 on the list. I was kind of hoping to see Chris Hero a little higher on the list as well, he is super entertaining in the ring.

Dont bother dissecting it, I come from the UK and can tell you this magazine is the worst piece of journalism you'll get in any field.

The editor is a bitter, biased indy mark who doesnt even try to hide his hatred for anything WWE or TNA. His name is 'Fin Martin', google him and you'll see what a horrible twat he is.

Awful magazine.

Guess that perfectly explains Cena missing from the list then.

Yeah, he dedicated a page & half to nitpick all the things wrong about Cena v Punk at MITB, while everyone else was busy enjoying the damn match.

I'd just like to know what criteria this list is based on.

The list is based on Workrate and Performance apparently. If this is the case where is Cody Rhodes? He had some great performances this year and worked his way up to a strong credible upper mid carder.

Yeah this list is extremely flawed. Rey Mysterio is on the list rather high despite being out for quite a while. Cena isn't on there despite putting on good matches, and its like he put a Japanese guy up at the very top to "stick it to the WWE"... meh.

Guess that perfectly explains Cena missing from the list then.

No it is because he is a poor wrestler. Now we can debate all day long how much of an impact Cena has or hasn't had on wrestling, but that is not what this list is judged on, it is based on guys work in ring and maybe the a bit on personaity and mic skills. Now to my knowledge the only two great matches Cena had this year were both with CM Punk who can have a good match with the lamp shade. I give Cena credit for his performance at MITB, he really stepped up that night, but a couple of shining moments in a whole year surely is not enough to make him one of the wrestlers of 2011.

Cork how can Power Slam be basied against WWE and TNA when Randy Orton made number two in the PS 50 and when WWE and TNA wrestlers constantly get on the cover of the magazine?

Power Slam is a great wrestling mag, with the perfect blend of in-depth covenge, amusing articles and passhiote views. I guess it just puts a lot of readers nose's out of joint because they tell the harsh truth about many of the overrated modern wrestlers fans cheer for LOL.

Back to the list, it is quite flawed, can't see why Orton is number two, he has had a respectable year, but it was not that good. And I am amazed to see Jeff Jarrett in there, as well as John Morrision. Look forward to getting the issue to see what they have said about them.
