that's when he really became nearly universally loved.

Even in the 2010's he was doing his job and doing a damn good job of it. You may not have liked the style that he was doing but he was doing what he was asked to do and doing it well. And I'll be honest in hindsight I kinda liked Heel Cole. It lasted way too long and it should have ended at Mania.
Even after he turned face, I still just I don’t know didn’t care about him at all. But I can chalk it up to Vince being in his ear tbh

that is a big part of it. His style has never been about telling us what moves were being done it was about weaving the narrative of the show throughout the broadcast, while also directing traffic to cohorts. 2 things he has been outstanding at for a long time.

The only one I really take issue with with is Corbin for worst on mic, dude was so good this year IMO
Jay White losing one match in 2023 being called a burial n pretending mjf didn't cheat is the most IWC thing ever to me

"Hey let's vote the Japanese people for terrible mic work even though they're speaking in their second language when speaking English and the other is speaking badass Japanese promos now"
That was sort of my point, but I never understand the hate for that.
David Finlay, sorry, dude's been lacking in comparison to other BC leaders. All either had an "It Factor" or something. He's still finding it and even if Jay had to develop into the role, he had progress. David's not developed as quickly. At least he seems to have debuted a new finisher.
I like David and just think he needs some time to cook. People are just quick to jump gun and say he sucks, or he is the worse because they really liked Jay as the leader. I remember when Omega became the leader after AJ and some fans weren't keen on that so guess it is just part of being a fan. And to be clear, if you or anyone don't like David that is fine, I just personally think people are too harsh on him when he hasn't had time to really develop.

I’m glad he’s finally getting a chance to show all that.

Truthfully when he was with Taz back in the day he wasn’t that bad either

Not a burial, but frankly wasn't good booking. The angle that night was utter overkill.

First injury. Then ambulance. Then bait and switch. Then back to the original. If it was just a post-match attack, no ambulance spot. Then underdog scumbag win with Cole in corner, would have been fine and accomplished everything.

I will say it was the same person who gave 3-pointers to Nakamura and Io's mic work, but I'd rather not start a fight so I'm not going to name them

agree to disagree, I enjoyed it and no one was actually hurt from it - it also added to the backstab later on and the feuds and alliances going on with jays group. the match in a nutshell may have been not enjoyed by all, but it had a purpose.

Whoever nominated Shinsuke, Iyo, and David Finlay, I just want to say one thing. We ain't friends.
Nah David Finlay’s gimmick is awful. He can scream that he’s a savage all he wants, but it ain’t working.
