Match: 8 man 2 out three falls match=KENTA,Ricky Marvin,Taiji Ishimori and Kotaro Suzuki vs Davey Richards,Atsushi Aoki,Kanemaru and Genba Hirayangi
Promotion: Noah
Date: 29/06/2008
Rating: 3.5/5
Comment= This match started fast with Marvin and Kanmaru with Marvin ganging the advantage then followed by some nice work by Marvin and Richards. There was some nice moments in this match and some great counters but it just never reached that special level that i was hoping for considering the talent. No true memorable moments and was almost no interaction between Richards and KENTA which was disappointing given their history. Still it was a solid match without being spectacular.

Match: No DQ Kevin Steen vs Super Dragon
Promotion: PWG
Date: 18/12/2005
Rating: 3/5
Comment= This match took place at the Astonishing X-mas event and began with brawling on the outside with both competitors throwing chairs at each other. Early on in the match Steen picked up Dragon and threw him over to some chairs that were set up. Other spots included Steen on the outside of the apron suplexing Dragon who was on the inside onto a table. As both men grew desperate to beat each other things like thumbtacks came into play.
This was a ok match but i was bored at times and i have seen better DQ matches that have a bit more creativity in them. There was more crazy spots but it was nothing that captured me.

Match: Alex Shelley vs Trent? Best of Super Juniors 20.
Promotion: New Japan
Rating: 3
Comments: Nice -15 minute match. This was just after Trent got dropped from the WWE and it is obvious that he is still trying to figure out what his character will be. That doesn't stop this match from being fun to watch with a good flow and build. Both guys are solid workers so there's no complains on that front at all.

Match: Cactus Jack vs Terry Funk (No Roped Barbed Wire Deathmatch /W C4 Rigged on Barbed wire boards inside the ring)
Promotion: IWA
Date: August 20,1995
Rating: 3.5/5
Comment: Oh Boy, This Infamous Match...This is the Definition of Hardcore right here. These two legends battled it out, already injured from the matches earlier in the day, they battled it out to the max. Funk took more damage as he was put through a C4 rigged Barbed wire Board Twice. Jack looked the better off as he wasn't as hurt as funk going into this match. Tiger Singh, Who lost against Funk in the semi-finals, ran in and began hitting funk with the handle of his sword (I shit you not this is true). This Match is must for any Hardcore Fan but for other fans, It's a must see or miss.

Match: AR Fox Vs Michael Elgin

Promotion: PWG

Rating: 4.2

Comment: Had a slower pace which wasn't too bad, Some nice spots but Fox stole this match with some high flying spots, The ending was okay, Nothing too special there.

Match: Chuck Taylor vs Fire Ant. Cibernetico 2011
Promotion: Chikara
Rating: 4
Comments: This match was nicely worked. Chuck Taylor and Fire Ant obviously know each other well considering how long they have both been in Chikara. And as a backdrop to this match we had the long rivalry between the Colony and FIST. This match had a little bit of everything, starting out as a brawl outside of the ring. Then it went to striking before going into highflying and technical stuff and then back to more striking. And lets not forget the crowd interaction. Chuck Taylor as a heel in Chikara is hilarious and his verbal feud with two eleven year old girls throughout the match was really fun.

Match: Green Ant vs Mike Quackenbush. The thirteenth hat
Promotion: Chikara
Rating: 4.5
Comments: This is a near perfect example of teacher putting over student. Green Ant quickly became one of Chikara's top guys after his debut and this match with Quack helped cement him at the top I believe. Both guys work a submission heavy style and they worked that into the match really well. Showing that the rookie can hang with the veteran but has to give his all to put him away.

Match: Generico vs. Nick Jackson vs. Jigsaw vs. Kota Ibushi
Promotion: Chikara
Rating: 4.2
Comments: This exemplified how a real 4-way match should be executed. Great spots from the start till the end. In my opinion, Ibushi righteously won the match, as he stole this match with his great variety of moves and the way he enacted them. The sequence he had with Generico near the ending was a real illustration of how great indy wrestling is. Not to leave out Nick and Jigsaw's roles in this bout, whom both did excellent in delivering the spectacle. Crowd was great, wrestlers were great. Great match overall.

Match: Cactus Jack Vs Terry Gordy
Promotion: IWA Japan
Rating: 1.8
Comments: It was very slow and sluggish, It was mainly just them hitting each other with strikes, There was a few decent spots, Jack took a sick bump to the outside and a piledriver on the table but Gordy hitting some really shit looking moves brought my rating down, He hit 2 powerbombs which looked like he almost dropped Jack on his neck, Ending was decent. Just not a good match.

Match: Terry Funk vs Tiger Singh
Promotion: IWA
Date: August 20,1995
Rating: 2.5
Comment: Ok, So we got Funk vs Singh....It was slow and involved weapons, as you'd expect. Singh, As mentioned in my last post, Has a F'ing sword....He hits Funk with the handle all the time. Anyway, I don't want to delve to much into this one but It's Alright if you're a Deathmatch Fan.

Day 1:

1st match:
Match: Danielson vs Black - 5/9/08 Southern Navigation
Promotion: ROH
Rating: 3.8/5
Comments:Solid match from both men, what made the match standout was Black's brilliant selling of Bryan's fantastic strikes, the technique of Bryan's kicks were phenomenal. Bryan performed all of his submissions manoeuvres well.

2nd match:
Match: Chris Benoit vs Great Sasuke - Super J cup 1994
Promotion: NJPW
Rating: 4.25/5
Comments: Sauske's fast pace worked beautifully with Benoit's technical style, it really allowed a much nicer flow for the match. Neither wrestler was afraid to put everything on the line in this match, they both put themselves through hell to make the match as good as possible and for that I applaud them.

Match: Prince Devitt vs Ishikari Taichi
Promotion: NJPW
Rating 4/5
Comments: It was interesting to watch Japanese wrestling again, since it's been a long while. These two put on a great match, never felt one sided for to long. Great back and forth action, favorite part was near the beginning when Taichi countered the monkey flip and landed on his feet. These two though seemed a bit awkward to work with. When Taichi launched himself out, it looked a bit messy, and when Taichi did a spinning back kick, he completely missed Devitt, but Devitt sold it anyway. Still, these two put on a great match overall aside from a couple of mistakes, so I'll give it a 4/5 :obama:

Match: Pac vs Prince Devitt
Promotion: NJPW
Rating: 5/5
Comments: This match was just amazing. Beautiful performance by both wrestlers, Pac especially. His moves were just downright insane. Countering a drop kick, stomping on Prince Devitt then ending the sequence with a standing star press, a corkscrew moonsault, and to end the match, frontflips while jumping backwards :phew: this guy has to be a fucking hovercraft! Devitt was great too, all those stomps, and the dodging Pac and knocking him to the outside and senton bombing him, was awesome. Also giggled when the fan gave him some of his drink. Crowd was at a equal level for both wrestlers, cheering for both Pac and Devitt. Overall, one of the best matches for light heavyweight wrestlers I've ever seen, if you haven't seen it yet, go now.
