Glad you mentioned it. I flipped it back to the channel and watched their performance from the start. I thought it was fucking awesome. Very unexpected to see a band like them performance for the Opening Ceremony.

It really ran the gambit from pop (Lady Gaga) to Classical Music to heavy metal (Gojira) to opera (Carmen), to military parade to pop again (Aya Nakamura).

Also great to hear the Notre Dame's bells ring for the first time since the devastating fire in 2019.
