No he's specifically telling you to fuck off.
Why? All I did was post a statement from a Democratic Congressman stating his opinion of why his own party did poorly in this last election. How does that warrant a 'fuck off'? Isn't what the Congressman said pertinent to the discussion at hand? Isn't it a possible explanation as to why democrats lost so many elections? Isn't Congressman Torre's and Senator Sander's statements be considered so the results this cycle are not repeated in 2026? 2028?

I guess you are right. It is much more productive, and easier, to tell me to fuck off. Well done.

Sanders: "The Democratic Party needs to go further left and embrace more leftist policies."

Other Guy: "The far-left is to blame for this! The Democratic Party should abandon them!"

See the problem here, pal?

Lots of people mobilizing around the "missing 20 million votes" and it's like... maybe something is behind it, maybe not, but if you go full MAGA now (just for the Dems in this case), like some already do, then you're just making their case look stronger by basically giving them momentum about their bullshit cheating yells about 2020.

Apparently most to all mail-in ballot voters, who did an online check to see if their votes were received, got a result that says no. Again, maybe there is something to it, maybe not.

The Dems lost 15 million voters, but apparently up to 42 million more voters than in 2020 registered. Both numbers seem suspicious as fuck though.

The easy answer is the new registrations voted but a large number of people registered 2020 or before did not

Yeah fair enough. It makes sense to me with the general apathy I've seen especially towards your like 30-40 year old types. It's anecdotal but I'd put money a lot of them didn't vote, I know both my parents didn't, nor did they in 2020, they have never not voted before that as far as I'm aware

I think the thing that a lot of people are failing to understand is the 2020 turn out was groundbreaking and unheard of. If you look at all the elections before it, they all look around the same thing as this year’s.

What made 2020 special was a mixture of a lot of things that came to ahead in 2020, including a year of Covid, but most of all a lot of people were just sick of Donald Trump. People in record numbers from the left, the center and the right all turned out and decided to vote for Joe Biden.

While Kamala tried to re-create that anti-Trump sentiment again, it just didn’t seemingly resonate. The incumbent fatigue seemingly affected Kamala Harris, even though she wasn’t technically the incumbent.

Usually that fatigue doesn’t happen until after the incumbent is reelected, and then the opposition party wins the next election, but American’s attention spans might be getting shorter, and we might be in a new era of where there are no more reelections for a while, and every election it changes hands. I could be wrong, but I think we already now have a record for most one term presidential candidates in a row considering Trump can’t run for another term after this, so we’re now at three in a row.

Yea... I think way more voters stayed away, because they were disillusioned by how things were going between the end of 2020 and mid-24, than people think. Plus... you again have too many people who put everything into polls etc.

It's just that MAGA-like yelling, that's so... frustrating to see, because it completely plays into those MAGA-idiots hands, as well as those who want to have this side of the spectrum disrupted and looking like rebels.

Well tbh other than that last Iowa poll, all the reputable ones were saying toss up but leaning trump, I never saw these favorable Harris polls everyone was which could be part of the problem
