More promising results from my simulation.
In 2026 and only two wrestlers average 95 pop or higher in the US - Spencer Spade and Joss Thompson.
Rocky Golden touches 95pop in some regions but as low as 93 in others.
The only other wrestler to have 95+pop in any other region is Gino Montero, who has 96pop in Mexico.
I'm happy enough with Spade and Montero having 95+ pop too since they are simply ridiculously talented all-round. Basically the Shawn Michaels and Eddie Guerrero of the Cornellverse.
It seems most workers have a more visible cap on their popularity as a lot of guys grew in pop and then froze at a certain point. Results in a lot of guys around the high 70s/low 80s = there are 34 wrestlers in USPW with 80 pop or higher in the US lmao.
Just reminding folks this is still on the table. I want at least two more folks for the game but if not I can work with four. It would have been five but The Fiend disappeared thanks to Chris's tyrannical modding.
House Rules:
1.) No sniping -- Bigger companies such as WWF and JCP are not allowed to steal talents from the smaller companies that are on hand-shake deals. They must wait for talent to be on the last thirty days of their contract or consult the other player in order to make a contract offer. You wouldn't like it if your top star was suddenly stolen by another player, right? Just don't actively be a dick.
2.) Everyone Can Trade Talent -- Everyone can, if they wish, enter a working relationship with other players that will allow them to trade talents for a short time. There are no restrictions on the talent traded, but no money is allowed to be exchanged between players, since finances are extremely important.
3.) Fair Contract Battles -- When workers are on the last thirty days of their contracts, the player who is in control of the contract must announce their intention to either keep the worker, or their intention to release them. A contract battle will begin between players who wish to secure this worker's services. If bigger companies such as JCP and WWF are attempting to secure their services, they cannot grossly overspend on the contract in order to guarantee victory. I will be keeping track of newly signed contracts and determining if one is against the rules.
Let me know if you're interested, and give me the company you'd most be interested in playing as, and what worker you'd want to play as (owner or booker).

Looking at two more, wondering if @Ace and possibly @Hamilton or @Sky are interested. If all three are interested, I can work in an extra slot as either AJPW/NJPW or a smaller US company of the era. Lemme know at your earliest convenience.
So yeah I'll join, very little knowledge of old-school wrestling but may be fun to do some research so that I can book shows.
Gimme the easiest remaining company to book (ie with decent workers)
