Same, I didn't actually know that (or i forgot it idk) until today when I was looking up to see what number reign this one was lol wasn't even all that long for the times either, like 400+ days so he had like a year and some change as champ

Still a pretty decent run, none the less, but just a bit odd. Though I think after he last the belt would be when he began working over in Japan a lot more.

Terry Funk should be on everyones Mount Rushmore. I don't think anyone else has given to wrestling so much.

Funk might never be referred to as "one of the greatest" in pro wrestling, but he legit made every match he was in like a legit, knock-out, drag-out fight. I could watch any of his matches and just be entertained.
