This film is obviously influenced by the Martin Scorsese classic Mean Streets. It is no classic though, terrible script, direction, musical score and wooden performances all round even from the usually reliable Wood.

Where to even begin with this one, Murphy sure has made a lot of questionable movies in his time along with a a couple of real gems with heart and humor like coming to america,trading places, and Beverly hills cop.
Norbit on the other hand is a real dog turd of a movie. Being kicked in the balls is more funnier and intelligent then this. It is also very offensive to certain people like orientals and the larger person, has the same kind of nastiness as his two stand up shows Raw and Delirious.
