WWE developmental talent Terrance Jean-Jacques has been suspended after his arrest on charges related to a domestic violence incident involving his pregnant ex-girlfriend.

As first reported by the Eagle-Tribune of Haverhill, Massachusetts , Jean-Jacques, 24, was charged Wednesday, three days after his arrest for assault and battery, kidnapping, witness intimidation, destruction of property and threatening to commit a crime in Haverhill District Court in Massachusetts. He's alleged to have pushed his ex-girlfriend, who is six months pregnant with his child, while attempting to prevent her from leaving.

Jean-Jacques was ordered held without bail by Judge Stephen Abany, pending a hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

In a statement to ESPN, the WWE cited its domestic violence policy. "We have zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Terrance Jean-Jacques has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest."

The incident occurred on Saturday night, after which an arrest warrant was issued; Jean-Jacques turned himself in to police custody on Sunday morning.

Jean-Jacques was an All-American collegiate wrestler, who spent time at Rutgers and Iowa before finishing his career at Rhode Island College. He was the runner up in the 285 pound division at the 2015 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships, and ended that season with a 34-2 overall record. He signed a WWE contract in April, at which time he reported to the WWE's Performance Center in Florida.

I don't know who he is but knowing that he abused his pregnant ex is enough of a reason that if he were to ever make it to the main roster, I'd be one of many to boo him and demand he :gtfo:

I'd assume they wouldn't want to fire him at this stage because he hasn't been convicted. It doesn't look likely but rn it's perfectly possible that he'll be proven innocent, in which case WWE wouldn't want to have fired him for being wrongly accused.

If he's convicted, I would assume that they will fire him.

I would sure hope so. I hate when an establishment values money over women *coughNFLcough*

WWE are hardly the world's most scrupulous organisation *coughHealthInsurancecough* but if he were kept in the company after being convicted (or indeed debuted) then this story would get thrown back up again and there's NO WAY they risk that.

True but Stone Cold got away with it for awhile there. I doubt people would let it slide though for some random wrestler. I think people didn't want to believe it with Steve.
