I don't think it has anything to do with Russo. The product has gotten a lot better since Prichard became the head writer late last year anyway, but it does kinda' make me mad that when TNA has some of their best shows in years, they not only don't gain viewers, but lose them.

It is so strange though that suddenly the rating dropped from a 1.2 average to a 1.0 average for three weeks in a row. From most reports TNA has been much better this year but for some reason a whole bunch of viewers have tuned out.

The 3/23 edition of Impact did a 1.09 rating with 1,489,000 viewers.

Moving in the right direction to get it to a 1.1 rating even if viewership remains steady. Would be good to find the breakdowns but they are tough to find these days.

The 3/30 edition of Impact did a 1.04 rating with 1,363,000 viewers. Not exactly the audience they hoped for with the Hulk Hogan cliffhanger.

the ratings have nothing to do with Russo, people casual fans aren't going to turn it off because Russo's gone, also don't see the new guys being the problem I mean look at the ratings storms title win got. The problem is promotion and people just not caring about the product

With the Russo comment I made it as a joke. I know that it isn't to do with Russo but it is funny that as soon as he left the ratings dropped and haven't recovered.

Back to 1.05 again isn't the best result but it seems like the new average level for Impact.

The April 5th Episode of IMPACT Wrestling (which heavily featured Hulk Hogan) had an audience of 1,477,000 viewers (up slightly from last week's 1.3 million viewers) and a 1.13 rating. TNA continues to struggle to regain its audience of just a few months ago.

I wonder if it will increase since Hulk Hogan is back on tv regularly or if it will remain steady. They got a slight increase for the Hogan heavy show so that may be a sign of things to come.

Last night's edition of TNA Impact Wrestling, which was the go-home show for this Sunday's Lockdown PPV, drew a 0.99 rating, which is down from the 1.13 rating the show drew last week.

The show took in an average of 1.39 million viewers compared to the 1.47 million it averaged last week.

So Bischoff talks down UFC ratings and then this week TNA drops under a 1 rating, a bit of karma for him. Not a good rating and that is the level that TNA will want to always be above.

Q1: 0.83 - Opening Bischoff Family segment, first-half of Mr. Anderson vs. Gunner
Q2: 0.98 - Second-half of Mr. Anderson vs. Gunner, backstage segments, Motor City Machineguns promo
Q3: 0.92 - Austin Aries vs. Daniels
Q4: 0.91 - Backstage segments, set up for the ODB/Eric Young wedding
Q5: 1.11 - ODB/Eric Young wedding
Q6: 1.14 - A.J. Styles vs. Bully Ray, Hulk Hogan tease, Hogan naming the stipulation for Eric Bischoff's team at Lockdown
Q7: 0.97 - Gail Kim & Madison Rayne vs. Velvet Sky & Mickie James
Q8: 1.00 - James Storm/Bobby Roode final face-off before Lockdown

Wow that opening rating must be one of the worst ever. Maybe TNA can get the hint that people don't want to see the Bischoff's on television. I can't believe that wrestling weddings still draw after all this time.

Here's this weeks TNA Impact Rating

TNA Impact on Thursday, April 19 remained below a 1.00 rating for the second consecutive week with a 0.97 rating, down slightly from a 0.98 rating last week.

Impact averaged 1.31 million viewers, down six percent from last week's average of 1.39 million viewers. It was the fewest average viewers of the year and fewest since September 2010.

Last year this week, Impact scored a 1.17 rating and averaged 1.54 million viewers. The key demographic ratings are similar, though, in a year-to-year comparison.

So Hogan returns as GM and the Bischoff's are pushed strongly and the rating drops below 1. Interesting, wonder if TNA will make the connection and realise where they went wrong.

Kinda reminds me of the infamous moment while WCW was at it's peak and Bischoff bragged about ratings, the week after theyy dropped and never recovered.

Same shit again with him taunting UFC about the TUF ratings.

About time he did another nWo rehash, thats usually his fallback plan.
