No, he wouldn't have lived a day if he made it as a main event player. He had no charisma, meaning that no one would get behind him, and his wrestling skills lacked severely with nothing to make him stand out from everyone else, hence he'd easily fall off the charts.
he did have charsima as proven by those interviews i stated

Those are called shots in the dark, lucky times where he did something good, but it wouldn't be replicated unless a blue moon happened. He cannot pull something off like that (which wasn't THAT special anyways) often.
