Taya Valkyrie Officially Done with Impact Wrestling

Taya Valkyrie is done with Impact Wrestling for now as her contract has expired.

PW Insider first reported the news Tuesday after Valkyrie was written off the show as she revealed she was the one who shot John E. Bravo in a storyline that started last year. She was taken into custody and admitted she shot him to prevent her friend Rosemary from marrying Bravo.

Insider reported that Valkyrie's contract expired in December, but she stayed on to help finish up the angle and to give Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo a win at last Saturday's Hard To Kill. She had been on the final year of a multi-year contract.

Last night, she retweeted a AAA tweet speculating about who she should defend the Reina de Reinas championship against next. She last defended the title in February on a show in London, England.

The 37-year-old debuted for Impact in 2017 and became the longest-reigning Knockouts Champion in the company's history at 377 days.

The Segment with Taya and Rosemary pulled at my heart strings with her officially leaving. She can go wherever she wants and she'll be a successful talent she has all the skills to do so. WWE would be the place she would would love to work of course to be closer to her Husband, but I can't not lie I wouldn't mind her seeing her in AEW or even Japan. She had a Match with Io with Stardom and made quite the impression there.

I know it's just Dreamer and I shouldn't rate this but him saying she'd "probably end up in Stanford" during her write off segment while also joking about Jacksonville and Baltimore kinda makes me thinks she's already decided when she goes anywhere else though, then I'll know I shouldn't trust Dreamer

Very good IMO but she gets a lot of hate for being "overpushed" which I get to an extent but I don't have that complaint myself

Taya is 37? I thought that she was younger than me. WOW. She looks much younger than her actual age.

Her departure from Impact was sad but I did like how they finished it all up between her, Rosemary, John E. Bravo, etc.
