Tampa City Officials Ready to ‘Pull the Plug’ on WrestleMania 36 if WWE and Vince McMahon Don’t Make a Decision Soon

I feel bad for the wrestlers. Surely Drew. I honestly hope he doesn’t win the belt now. Win it when he’s in front of an actual crowd.

One of the reasons I knew they weren't putting off Mania is because you can't put off the payoffs.

If Drew doesn't win now, it'll be a long time before he does. Unless the plan was always do it later in a rematch.

However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.”

There's too many commitments to USA, Fox and PPV to move a show that effects 20 plus shows that would be held up by this.

Tampa 100%. Their statement here basically said they would force WWE to do it eventually which is in of itself a cancellation.

I think there's a strong chance WWE will cut the show down a few hours and only keep the matches they need to payoff.

Don't quote me on that, though, cause knowing WWE they could easily still try to do the full show.

I bet the logistics of postponing it didn't work out - it's a LOT to reschedule, it's not just Mania - it's Raw, Smackdown, the HOF and Axxess and a bunch of other stuff.
