WrestleMania Taker's possible WrestleMania opponent

As of this writing, the top of the WrestleMania 32 card is said to be finished, and The Undertaker does indeed have a match. Previously, it was said that John Cena vs Undertaker was a lock for ‘Mania this year, but those match plans have been scrapped due to Cena’s injury. While The Undertaker’s opponent for ‘Mania has not been revealed, the planned name is not John Cena, Kevin Owens, Brock Lesnar or Braun Strowman, and is said to be someone who is not on the roster right now.

From a speculative standpoint, Sting would come to mind as Undertaker’s potential opponent at WrestleMania, but the soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer has spinal stenosis in his neck, needs neck surgery, and he’ll be 57 by the time of the PPV. That doesn’t rule out, however, the possibility of a loser must retire match, which could be the send off for either or both legends.

Nothing's set in stone yet, and sure, this match is 14-15 years too late, but still I'll take this over Taker vs Strowman any day.

Goldberg? Nah. Rock? Only if it's a pillow fight, can't let him take bumps. Unless he can find a stunt double ofc. Still think Taker vs Reigns has the most appeal.

Also, I guess WWE is hopeful for John Cena to return for WM so yeah... It is likely why Undertaker hasn't returned yet.

I highly doubt Sting is ever going to wrestle again. Guys at that age don't fully recover from injuries like that.

My money is on Sheamus. I know it's lame sounding, but WWE has thrown him so many big oppurtunities this year so why not another one?
