Sylvester Stallone’s ‘Tulsa King’ Premieres November 13, 2022 on Paramount+ and Paramount Network

Sylvester Stallone’s career as a TV leading man has a launch date. Paramount+ said today that Tulsa King, the longtime film star’s first lead turn on the small screen, will bow on Sunday, November 13.

The premiere also will be simulcast on Paramount Network, following the Season 5 premiere of Yellowstone, led by fellow big-screen staple-turned-TV star Kevin Costner. The cable net also will air Episode 2 of Tulsa King behind Yellowstone on November 20.

Hailing from Taylor Sheridan and Terence Winter, Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), who, as he’s released from prison after 25 years, is unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, OK. Realizing that his mob family might not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet

This sounds like a pretty interesting concept, and it will be fun to see Stallone on tv for a change. Really hoping this is solid.

Stallone can be in some very hit or miss stuff, but I'm liking the idea of him dabbling in TV. Something fresh.

Seeing Stallone in a TV series is going to feel weird.

The first Episode was a freaking blast to watch. The Opening 10 Minutes of the Episode had me knowing yep this Show is going to be a great Show to watch for me. Stallone has an intimidating presence to him when he wants something to go his way and you see it multiple times in the first Episode. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the Season.

Sly fan here but the main reasons I ended up watching this in this first place was cuz I’m a fan of mobsters and a guy I like from Boardwalk Empire is in it



I was happy about how good it actually was, we needed a new show to watch and didn’t want it to be stupid. I’m impatient and don’t want to wait until September but at least it’s not like 5 years from now lol

I went into watching this show thinking it was going to be over the top, and it was in a good way. Stallone is an acquired taste in most cases. but I've always been a huge fan no matter how bad the project. I'm all about watching this as soon as I can.
