I can't see Shawn Michaels coming out of retirement just to put over Bryan, no way. After those epics with Taker, it would just feel wrong and not important enough. However, I would look at using him as special guest referee in Bryan v Hunter.
Idk man Shawn probably sees DB as his protege. I would think he would want to do this to help cement his status as a top guy as much as possible.

Depends how close they are, but I still think no.

Lol @ DX vs beard and the best. Yeah he's going to return for a tag-match.

This Wrestlemania card is so unpredictable, though. From the current, full-time roster, you'd expect to see Orton, Cena, Bryan, Punk, Langston, The Shield, The Wyatt Family, and the Rhodes brothers. Then, there's part-timers who may have matches like Undertaker, Triple H, Batista etc. Also, there's the rumoured surprise returns that could happen like Jericho, Sheamus, RVD, Goldberg, and Hogan, etc. Some big names will miss out.

expect a bullshit catch all either Battle Royal (say for the right to face big E for the IC belt later) or a 5 on 5 tag match of some sorts.

Shawn Michaels helped train Bryan and told WWE for years that he was a hell of a talent and that they should sign him. Plus, Bryan is already one of their top faces, so Michaels coming out of retirement to do a job for him isn't so much of a stretch. It's not like he's some midcarder who has never yet made it to the main event at all.

The mental image I have in my head is Michaels shaking his hand and going back babyface after losing to him, similar to how he did with Hogan at Summerslam 2005.

I know about their history but I still can't see it happening. What is more likely is HBK being referee for HHH/Bryan, calling the match legit, and then once Bryan won, shaking hands and showing his respect. That would be just as symbolic without having to come out of retirement unnecessarily.

Though that may be so, I feel like I've seen just about enough special guest referee matches involving HBK for a lifetime to the point where I'd rather see HHH/Orton again.

Yea HBK dawning the black and white stripes doesn't add anything really other than an HBK entrance for the live crowd to mark during.

If Bryan/HHH happens at all, I wouldn't expect there to be any chance of HBK being made the referee. He'd likely just be in HHH's corner. Like Leo said, enough with HBK as the special referee, especially when he would be so clearly biased in favor of HHH here.

- Regarding the news that Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena may take place at WrestleMania XXX, that was the plan as of this past Tuesday. The match wouldn’t necessarily be the main event of the pay-per-view but would be one of the main matches. As PWMania.com reported, WWE chief Vince McMahon recently stated to the writers and producers that “Cena is the main event until his time is clearly up. That man feeds us!”

"This match won't exactly be the main event"
"Cena will be the main event until his time is up"

Let me guess who wrote this insightful report... :hmm:

Using Cena's star power to help further elevate Wyatt seems like a good idea, but it annoys me to think Wyatt will suffer his first loss against Cena of all people. That's exactly the thing that people were hoping wouldn't happen when the Wyatt Family first bursted onto the scene and if this report is to be believed, it seems exactly the thing we're headed for. At least if it isn't a main event match, there's a chance of Cena taking the loss. Still find it odd for Cena to go from fighting The Rock twice in a row to fighting Wyatt, but hey, using your biggest (full time) star to help further elevate one of your main heels at Wrestlemania of all places? I'm not gonna complain.
