I know I might get some heat for this, but I honestly don't think WWE needs the Superstars TV show. 4 WWE shows a week is overkill imo, 3 was more than enough. I understand that Superstars is probably making money and we all know that Vince loves his dollars, the problem is, over saturation of the product isn't good. It will lead to fans getting burned out, which will lead to terrible ratings.

What do you guys think? Is WWE overdoing it with Superstars?

To be honest, with the lack of roster depth, Smackdown, ECW, and Superstars are all not needed.

I don't even think I have the channel. But it's just something extra...I don't think people will become bummed on the program in general. If they do, I imagine they'll quit watching Superstars...Not Raw/SD. So everything's fine. IMO.

Nah, I mean, it isn't as if they are feeding us a fourth batch of storylines and characters for us to care. Is just a nice showcase for wrestling. Any show we manage to get Y2J vs Morrison, Y2J vs Punk and Shelton vs Rey among other matches can't be bad.

As CMS, superstars isn't to really enhance storylines or anything, its just to showcase the wrestling/wrestlers that WWE has to offer. If you don't want to watch it, don't, but some people may want to watch it and if it gains Vince money then its doing what Vince would have planned for it to do.

It is eventually going to wear out and tire the wrestlers out in the long run, you will see a hell of a lot more injuries. If someone works three to four times a week wrestling, it is hard on the body let alone 300+ times a year.

Another bad thing is with wrestling nearly every day of the week (House shows & PPV's), they will have very little time to go over the match with each other backstage and chemistry will be dropped drastically, I mean think about it for a moment, the wrestlers are given before the show who must win and the two or three guys in the match just chat for a few hours about what moves and spots to do, they won't be doing this if they just got back from another show in another city.

It's way overkill in my opinion. The Quality of the wrestling will go way down compared to the Quantity of the shows they are shoving down our throats.

^ You talk about this like you are backstage and know exactly what goes on and how the wrestlers feel.

Anyway, I don't get it, but from the results I read, it's just a little extra. Nothing to be concerned about or anything.

100% agreed!

Personally, I don't even watch Superstars and ECW that much, if at all anymore, because the product is meh.

tbh, I was in line today with my Dad at this horse racetrack... and believe it or not it was on TV and it was the first time I watched it. Goes to show you that I can care less about WWE Programming anymore. I mean, it's cool they have it on, but it was on at 11:30am lol? And had lackluster R-Truth? Don't get me wrong, R-Truth is pretty cool, but, I mean, I don't know... I think, to me, Superstars is a waste

Well considering WWE has always had a small show sometime during the week it is kind of necessary. It also gives me something to watch before TNA comes on

That was a repeat of the show.

Seeing how they wrestle at Superstars instead of a house show, it's the same thing.

Lol, I missed the part when you became an official for WWE and knew all of that.

I don't think so. It's not like they use it to try and force story lines along. It seems to basically be used for one off matches, pretty much a strictly wrestlign show, which isn't a bad thing at all. If it ever gets to the point where they start blurring brand lines way too much on the show then yeah I'll agree that it's not needed.

I don't get the channel, so Superstars means nothing to me.

Yup same here :D. But a few years back wwe had like 5 shows (raw, SD!, velocity, heat, and experience or sumthin like that but it was more of like a summery show of what happened that week man I miss that show:()but superstars is a waste if they wanted to add another show it should have been experience thing :) or somethin like tuff enough
