I was listening to a few videos talking about this earlier as it was going on and apparently Tammy's defense team was pitching that Tammy has PTSD or whatever. As if they were really trying to go the route of Tammy having mental issues. Jonny Candido (the brother of Chris) was talking to Renee Dupree and he said that it wasn't possible for Tammy to drink casually or whatever. That he has seen himself how she acts when she drinks. The fact that she always seems to want to drive after shes been drinking. All of the DUIs that shes had and the fact that someone died. All of the chances shes gotten and nothings changed. The fact that she drove when she probably didn't have a license after so many DUIs. He really hit home as to why she should get the full possible sentence.

17 years though and apparently there is little chance of her getting out early. This is good for her. Obviously good for the public because she wont be driving while intoxicated anymore but this is protecting her from herself.
