Maybe not the greatest male role model throughout the series, but especially with these silly, mostly "almost useless" Dads, the very few hard hitting moments where they simply nail it being the Dad for their kid(s), hit so much harder and weigh so much more... and Tim Taylor is the perfect example for this.
Just like it is with Wrestling high spots. If the exact incredible high spot is seen every single week, then it loses it's impact fast. It's still a great move, it still looks impressive and great, but it neither surprises anyone anymore, nor does it really matter in the bigger context.
