I've never watched Smart Guy, so my pick's Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor!

Smart Guy is one of them pretty underrated shows. Not sure if it would hold up today but I do suggest people giving it a look.

Tim Taylor here. Maybe not the greatest male role model throughout the series, but especially with these silly, mostly "almost useless" Dads, the very few hard hitting moments where they simply nail it being the Dad for their kid(s), hit so much harder and weigh so much more... and Tim Taylor is the perfect example for this.

Just like it is with Wrestling high spots. If the exact incredible high spot is seen every single week, then it loses it's impact fast. It's still a great move, it still looks impressive and great, but it neither surprises anyone anymore, nor does it really matter in the bigger context.

Smart Guy was great, one of my all time favourite guest characters was on it with Brian Doyle-Murray playing a disgruntled but insane political expert in a parody of Crossfire

If I remember right his IRL sisters(the twins from sister, sister) appeared in the show quite frequently as well.

I remember one episode, but maybe it was more. I do know he was on an episode of Sister Sister, playing TJ from Smart Guy, which is crazy since :lol when they were on his show, they weren't their characters from Sister Sister.
