Like the second KO match is a carbon copy of the first one just with a different finish, both are great to watch alone but you watch 'em back to back and it's the same fucking match

He's literally letting Bryan work the perfect match to make Bryan look like the best wrestler on the planet, it's so awesome

Cena is a pretty generous worker when Vince lets him. I was saying earlier he literally helped build Punk into a superstar and he's doing it here for Bryan. Angles were about Vince not wanting the indy darling to get title shots and Cena does anyway and then puts them over and puts them over well. Punk alone won 4 of their 5 matches. And he's let Bryan set the pace. Well, into now. Cena's kinda working a heel spot now.

He definitely has this "indie" formula he pulls out against the work rate guys

I still think Cena's series with AJ was his best and I never woulda gussed a series later in his career would be better than Punk or even Edge really

I can't agree with this. His best series is with Punk for me. Especially since in 2017 he shouldn't have ended AJ's title reign.

Which is why it's mesmerising they put him in snoozefests with Orton and Big Show for so long

My one criticism with Cena's "Great" matches is that he'd tend to repeat the cool spots that were mostly cool just bc he'd never done them before

Which is why I tend to side with Cena's first matches with people.

I mean I feel that but I think that match is their best and even better than the SUmmerSlam classic

I imagine he had some random matches on Raw or SmackDown against like Rey or other smaller guys where it coulda happened though
