The Expendables
This was exactly what I expected it to be. It wasn't an award worthy film it was just a good action film packed with stars and a good way to spend a couple of hours. It was great seeing all those big action stars from the past couple of decades on the screen together and the story was good enough to carry the film. Some sections didn't make much sense like the sub-plot with Statham and his girlfriend and Rourke's role was just strange. But it was everything I expected and I would go see a sequel if one was made.

Toy Story 3
This is the best movie I have seen in some time. It was so good seeing Toy Story back again after a long break and everyone no matter what their age can enjoy this movie. It was a fantastic story, the music fitted perfectly and the animation was simply outstanding. I couldn't complain about anything in the movie and I would like to see it nominated for the Oscar for best feature film as well as animated film. The storyline about Andy being reluctant to throw out his childhood toys and then eventually giving them to Bonnie and playing with her was fantastic and overall it was such a happy film.

The Other Guys
I was really looking forward to this movie and boy was I disappointed. I rented it this weekend and it was one of the worst films I have ever seen. It wasn't funny and the acting was simply appalling. The only part that was somewhat entertaining and humourous was the first five to ten minutes. Ferrell and Wahlberg had no chemistry what so ever. The storyline was ragged, jumping from segment to segment with no clear reasoning. How Wahlberg might win an Oscar this year I don't know because he was terrible in this film, it was like he kept forgetting his lines and then blurting some random words out. Normally I like Will Ferrell movies but this was horrid.
