Look the gimmick is incredibly hilarious and the Dudley Dog is a nice finish and all but think about how much better he would be if he had a submission as a finish and while he had it locked in screams at them to Bolieve and to not quit.

Thoughts?

Wouldn't that make the whole concept of submitting in the bigger matches look just as hokey? Kind of like how hardcore matches where guys just hit each other in the head with shit killed the main events where the heel won with a chair/belt shot?

That submission does sound funny but I think it should be a signature spot like Jericho's cocky pin that never works rather than a match winner. It would have to be a credible, legit painful looking hold for it to be a finisher. Otherwise, like Deezy said, you may risk trivializing submissions for everyone else.

On topic, I'm loving Bo Dallas at the moment as well and I thought I was going to hate him. I guess I watched a few NXT clips of him, assumed he'd be pushed as a white meat babyface and didn't care, but I'm glad they went the opposite by pushing him as an over the top humorous heel. He's the kind of comedy character that I like, one that's inherently goofy but at the same time wily, legit contender (Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Edge & Christian together, etc).

My suggestions are for Bo to stick to the formula he's got for now (enters, gets pre-match hometown/topical heat, wins, obnoxiously boasts afterwards for more heat) and keep doing little things. Things like getting the mic knocked from his hands and saying "Silly me, butterfingers!", or small variations to his "Bo-Lieve!" catchphrase. Maybe its asking too much for bits of improv and fresh material every week from a rookie, but if they want Bo's schtick to stay funny then they need lots of subtle ideas to keep it fresh and not predictable. I feel like adding too much big, signature stuff like the minute of silence before every match will just get old and weigh him down.

I don't have much to say about his ring style but who cares, it's the gimmick everyone's talking about.
