IMO, he's the best striker in the world (obviously not including Messi and Ronaldo before the smurfs turn up). The stuff he has done this year is immense.

Though, I'm not sure he's a top 5. This is my order:

1) Ronaldo/Messi
2) Messi/Ronaldo
3) Iniesta
4) Ribery
5) Bale/Reus

Strikers are pretty limited and struggle to get into these top 5's now. The game has changed and you really need to be an inside winger or CF to challenge the best of the best.

Just my opinion but the fact he is as good as he is for a pretty crap team like Liverpool (I am a Liverpool fan but we have some crap bags of garbage playing for us) moves him up higher than people doing well at say Barca where they dominate most games.
