Really glad to read another BTB, it's been years before I was able to read one that wasn't one of mine. I'll just start with the negatives of the show . . .
The first thing that sticks out to me is the presentation. I really love that you broke the segments up in spoiler tags, but some of the coding, and spacing even is either dull or just plain odd. I was expecting, and hoping, for some signature color integration here, among other minor coding things, as it makes it look better. Just a suggestion, hardly a problem. What I did have more of problem with is where you'd break things. For example, match 2; the match ends mid-paragraph; we get a backstage segment for the rest of the paragraph; then after a space we get a line telling us PTP won by pinfall. None of that just feels right to me. Considering the match and segment were unrelated, there should've been a break there, and I believe the result line should go after the match, not at the end of the spoiler tag. Though again, even though I found this more bothersome, ultimately it doesn't really matter all that much as content is what matters with BTB.
But before to get to that, you had an instance with the department of redundancy department in Segment 3, " Ryback hitting the second Shell Shocked and getting the pin, breaking up the Shield by sending Rollins and Reigns to Smackdown, breaking up the Shield."
My problems with your first show based off the important portion of this, content. Firstly, The Rock winning the title and vacating it is terrible. I know you admit it's a cop out, but considering you had a time skip (which I'll get to in a bit), you could've easily just had Rock not be the Champion. It's devalues the title, and comes off as a middle finger to the wrestlers and the fans.
As for the backstory given prior, I have two problems. One, and this one's very minor, I think it would have been better had you stated Rhode Scholars injured Sin Cara at Elimination Chamber; rather than us learning prior to Rey's final match. That's minor, the big one, the plot hole creator, comes from the final segment. Quoting a line "Punk says that He was in the same match as Cena last night and deserves the same opportunity." This sentence contradicts the backstory which states Rock fought Punk & Lesnar at Mania and Cena teamed up with Miz to take on Ziggler and Big E. Which also brings up that Lesnar having no mentioned made towards him was weird too.
Okay, that's all I really have for negatives, and I hope I'm not just coming off as a dick, but even if I am, that will soon be rectified as I'm about to get to the positive. I love the direction this seems to be going. The six man match sounds awesome and I have no idea who's coming out on top and I really like that. The Tensai/Santino feud will be good if I'm correct in my thinking that McGillicutty's getting involved. I really hope he does and is he main person to benefit from this as I dislike both Tensai & Santino. The team of Bourne & Riley seems a bit out of the blue but oddly enough I really like the idea of the pairing. So the future of this BTB seems very bright, and I'm going to enjoy reading it.
Like that you separated the brands again too. And with a few exceptions like the redundant line, this was really well-written. Match-wise and promo-wise. Looking forward to Smackdown, and definitely the next Raw.
