Sting to AEW?

Rumours have been snowballing about it and in the past couple of days they have only been gathering pace.

His contact with WWE has apparently expired for one, and then WWE have now removed all of Stings merchandise from wwe.com also. That usually points to something.

I doubt that it would be in a wrestling capacity if he does show up but if it does happen it's apparently going to be at Full Gear.

I would love to see a one and done program, but I don't want to see bleed it dry with Sting. Sucks I might never get Sting vs Taker in the same realm like they did with Styles and Taker.

AEW are doing just fine versus expectations, actually exceeding them if anything and doing historic business for a wrestling company in the first year and a half. I don't think they're banking on Sting to be their "saving grace" or some shit, just another attraction.

And that's IF these rumors are even true.

Plus, ain't WWE on a decade-plus long skid in viewership? We would be here all day talking about their half-baked attempts to recoup the audience they've been losing.
