At the WWE Hall of Fame, the legendary Sting announced he's retiring from professional wrestling thus bringing one of the greatest careers of all time to an end. What're your thoughts on this announcement? Was it time or should he have had ONE MORE MATCH?

I can't say that I didn't see it coming. It's a sad day for sure.

At least we got to see him in the WWE and get his Hall of Fame ring.

May Sting move on to the next point in his career. I hope WWE has plenty of opportunities for him.

I still think it's all a ploy. He spent the better part of the week denying he was retiring only to retire.

Regardless of him announcing it this is not true. So this smurf all week been saying I want my dream match with Taker. I don't think this is for real. He may be stepping away until this neck thing is over and so people would stop bothering him about it.

If there's one thing that's true about Sting it's he's not a liar. He wouldn't formally announce a retirement if he plans to wrestle Undertaker next year. He honestly doesn't have anything left to prove, he's had his WWE matches, it's time to retire before he permanently damages his body and ruins his quality of life.

He honestly doesn't have anything left to prove, he's had his WWE matches, it's time to retire before he permanently damages his body and ruins his quality of life.

Sting is not giving up his dream of getting in the ring with The Undertaker. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion was interviewed by FOX 4 in Dallas on Friday to promote Sunday's WrestleMania 32. When asked about his possible retirement, Sting said that it’s “just talk," and he's getting "mixed signals" from doctors about the status of his neck. He revealed that he has not yet undergone neck surgery, and he feels good enough for "another fight."

Sting made it clear he wants one more match, saying, “I have a dream match that I’ve always wanted to do against The Undertaker. If I have my way it’s gonna happen.”

Sting says it's the match wrestling fans have always wanted but could never have due to the two men previously being in competing companies.

As noted, Sting has denied reports that claim he has officially retired from professional wrestling.

While talking with Brian Fritz at WrestleMania weekend in Texas, the soon-to-be WWE Hall Of Famer confirmed that he has not yet retired, once again denying reports to the contrary. When asked about the TMZ report that he has retired, Sting replied, "I don't know where they got that from."

While Sting admitted that he could retire without ever returning to the squared circle, he did admit that he would still like to stand across the ring from The Undertaker.

.@sting discounts the @TMZ report about him retiring, says "I don't know where they got that from." #WWE#WrestleMania

.@sting says only person really interested in facing: #Undertaker. He could retire w/o that match but doesn't want to yet. #WrestleMania

So, either he's lying or I'm just Blue.

That saddens me. I think they should have gave him Taker first. Such a blunder on WWE's part. Yet again.

He was throwing the press off his scent so he could do it with class at the Hall of Fame.

So he didn't want his official retirement to be a fucking TMZ report, can't say I blame him.

Probably wanted to announce it at the ceremony as a geninuine reaction. But nope, ruined that.
