It's possible he was only referring to the wrestlers in the NWO, though even then I would probably put Curt Henning or Rick Rude over Hall.

Ricky Steamboat is a former World Champion....look it up NWA World Champion. Had mat classics with Ric Flair. Also Curt Hennig & Scott Hall are both former World Champions too. AWA World Champions. Again look it up. And if anyone says the AWA doesn't count think again. Back in the days it was all about the NWA & AWA. If WCW World Title reigns count for something then so should AWA & NWA.

Oh yeah, Rick Rude is also a former World Champion. He beat Ric Flair for the NWA Title the day after WCW severed its ties with the NWA. The NWA doesn't recognize the title change, but check out the archived footage and you'll see some old WCW footage with Rude wearing the Big Gold Belt. They called in the WCW International Title for awhile until they finally had Flair win the WCW World Title and then Rude & Flair had a unification match that Flair came out on top of.

Nobody doubts that what you say is true, however when listing world champions, it is normally limited to NWA, WCW, and WWF/E. Most people I've come across don't count TNA or ECW either. So, yes. You are correct on a technicality. However, it is painfully obvious that Scott Steiner wasn't counting the AWA, and therefore Curt Hennig would also be on the list of those who never held the belt.

Again, so wrong.

I actually agree'd with him there. Scott Hall in his prime was awesome. To me, he was the best wrestler to not capture a world championship.
