As like the first series game, the old Spurs looks really old , the Grizzlies really powerful . I think the final score will be 4-1 , Spurs out , of course , the variation is when Ginobili come back .

I like the way you think.:

Problem is the Spurs have the ability to win a quick 4 straight on us at any given time after Manu comes back, but luckily until he gets back the Grizzlies big men can take whatever SA throws out to school. I was really surprised Gasol owned Duncan so hard Game 1. I think we'll see a more even matchup for the rest of the series. Randolph's going to continue to run wild though. This whole series is a mismatch for SA without Manu and the Grizzlies are a legit contender anyway. By the time Manu gets back to 100% it could be an 0-3 hole, which would be bad for them obviously.

Speaking of mismatches, Mike Conley's the X-factor I think. Tony just can't handle someone who's at a higher level than himself, which is what Conley is. If the Grizz want to come out on top, they're going to have to feed him. The Inside and PG matchups are where the Grizz have the upperhand, and if I was Lionel Hollins, that's who 90% of my backcourt gameplan would be for.

Conley is shit, TP will take him to school.

Manu back and the spurs get it done, next game theyll come out even better imo. Randolph didn't play too well but I must say Gasol did well in game 1 and was murdering the spurs big men in game 2, so hopefully he keeps that up for the grizz but other then that I dont think SA really need to worry. Hill and Neal are doing well off the bench, its just up to the spurs big men to step up.

Tony Parker's always been overrated. Against an emerging PG like Conley, no dice. He certainly won't be taking anybody to school anytime soon.

And if barely winning in game 2 at home with their best player rushing back and the Grizzlies' best player being shutdown your idea of an encouraging win, well...>_>

But in reality, i'd say the Spurs are definitely in between a rock and a hard place as of now. If they win the next two games they can rest easy, but until that time comes, they're not out of the woods at all yet. Especially since the Grizz have home court for the series now. In fact, the only way the Spurs can win is if Manu carries them to it, lets be real, Z-Bo's not pulling a vanishing act twice in a row.

...We really coulda used that Game 2 win though. D:

Parkers always been overated but he's still shitloads better then Conley imo, not a fan of him at all.

Manu came back an played well, and I bet you next game he will come out stronger. Grizzlies best player being SHUTDOWN, exactly why it was an encouraging win or whatever you said, they shut him down and their bench stepped up and played quite well, if they continue to play around that level theyll be through like nothing, lets just hope they have no more injuries.

The Grizzlies now though if they step up like they did in game 1 may be able to win another game and get some more confidence out of that an maybe have one last shot at the spurs but its doubtful with Manu back.

All I'm waiting for now is for HTK to say if the Grizz had Gay they'd be legit contneders despite being not only more effieicient on o but as d as well. If it makes you feel any better I think the Grizz could easily beat the Bulls.

And I take a little offense to calling TP "over rated. Who over rates him? Dude has played well, has two all star appearances , 3 titles and a Finals MVP and is the pg with the best fg % since 2003. Plus he has a champion's mentality and leadership ability, two priceless qualities that guys like Melo, Joe Johnson,Amare, Bosh, and many other max players who have been in the L a similar amount of time have proven not to have. Does he have a max contract? No. But he has more credentials than 80% of those that do. And lol at the Grizz fan calling someone over rated when their "best" player is out and the team is playing better without him.
