Which is like, part of my problem. I can watch some random TNA from when he was there, and swear I'm just watching LA Knight :heston no matter how many years ago it was...
I don’t like agreeing with this guy, but sometimes if it ain’t broke, we don’t need to fix it. I don’t typically think Drake or Knight ever needs to change because I think his character works now don’t get me wrong if he can think of something to do that’s different. That would be better than sure, but don’t change just to change unless you have something that would actually be good to do.

I wasn’t arguing whether or not it sucked. I was arguing with you that rock and Stone haven’t changed because they have numerounumerous.

You say that like it's a bad thing, some of us don't mind watching the same character over and over for years upon years...

I didn’t particularly care for the Stone cold that needed hugs and Vince by his side, but the jealous killer version of him when he was a heel was actually pretty awesome and entertaining.
I saw booking Austin as a heel in 2001 as a fail, he was too cool to be a heel ever again.

I think some stuff just got to be tweaked a little bit here or there. Even if it's something small. Like, to me it just gets a little stale I guess. Like I get why he doesn't change, it's over as fuck with most people and I can't fault him for sticking with it for sure. I just know personally, for me I would like a change. But it's not all about what I want all the time.

Which sucked ass and everyone agreed that it sucked ass, except for this dude apparently.
I know others who liked it. So maybe stop talking about things you have no clue about. Thanks.

There’s honestly nothing further you could do with stone cold at that point.

It did fail, but not because Austin didn’t kill it making it work because those first three months of his heel run were great, but the problem was they had no other baby faces stand up to him.

Rock went to film movies and they turned Hunter heel again and aligned him with Austin. Which I’m conflicted about because I love the two man power trip. They were amazing killing people, but without a top level baby face, they had nowhere to go.

I don't like agreeing with you either but by the same token, another example would be, would anyone wanna see a Rob Van Dam who isn't a stoner?

I probably agree with you more than anyone else on this forum. I’m someone that when I think something especially like a group I don’t think they ever need to end it because I like what I like and I don’t like it to be taken from me, but where I probably split from you is I don’t think nothing should ever change because that would be boring. Sometimes some people need to switch it up and sometimes it’s better after they’ve switched it up.

They're in the minority then, sorry to have break it to you. Well, not really.
and that's fine with me, as you saw above I don't really give a fuck, I'm not going to change my mind just because it's what's popular to think, I don't got to be like you and follow the crowd.

In the year that Austin had to take away for his neck injury, the rock and triple H became major players at the top of the card. Austin coming back and just doing what he was doing before just wasn’t gonna be possible and this was proven when they attempted to go back backwards in 2002 and it just flamed out.

I say this is a major Austin fan who actually thinks Stone cold had one of the best runs of his career in 2001 and that’s when he actually switched it up and did something different even if we don’t both love everything he did with his character that year.
