So after calling Dolph 'nothing special' Cody goes on to say that Sin Cara isn't special either. Dude should really take a look in the mirror, he's as nothing special as it gets. Match was pretty poor given it was focused around Cody trying to remove the mask of Cara.

Bryan walking around backstage shouting NO! at everybody :lmao Video highlighting his unstableness was great.

Here Bryan comes to the ring now and the dude is fucking mad over. For anyone who's seen Wrestling Road Diaries, 'Bacon Is My Passion' sign in the crowd :lmao

Highlight reel was good, great to see him bringing back Y2J for a couple of weeks before he leaves. It's a shame it wasn't just Jericho/Dolph in the reel though, could have been great stuff.

Tag team stuff was too short but its good to see it's still being featured. I have an awful feeling it's going to drop off again soon though when R-Boom lose the titles. Anyway, the booking really threw me off in this match because last week both of the PTP beat the champions in singles matches, but in this match they needed AW to get them a DQ victory? Doesn't really feel right to me.

Cesaro and Christian. The fallaway slam into the bridge from Cesaro was fucking beautiful. That was a very good but short match, would love to see them get 10 minutes.

Mysterio/Miz was very fun, Miz was actually watchable for a change. Rey looks like shit though, needs to get back in shape and lose the vest.

So the cops weren't actually cops, but hired hands to set up Sheamus, makes sense really and turned out to be an alright closing segment with Del Rio getting the major upper hand to look like a legit contender heading into SummerSlam.

Was going to type out my thoughts on the show, but these are spot on to what I thought of it. I wanted more wrestling, or at least one match with decent length like we usually get on Smackdown. Also, this Jinder/Ryback feud is terrible. STOP FUCKING PUSHING JINDER WWE!

I hate the booking of the World title in this show. Why even book a world title match two weeks before a PPV? I know that they didn't go through with it but you don't pretend that you are going to book the match and then disappoint all the fans by not going through with it. Why not simply not book that match and come up with something creative for them to do before their PPV match in two weeks.

Jinder Mahal winning is about time, I am glad that his character is actually going somewhere.

Wonder if PTP will get their title shot at SummerSlam, would be pretty big if the tag team titles get defended on that PPV.

Hope they do go through with a Christian/Cesaro feud because it will be a great way to get Cesaro over.

Cesaro should have won with his uppercut last night if want to talk about him getting over. It was out of nowhere and looked sick as hell. It would have made him look like a pretty major player on the spot however since he was booked to lose they went to the finish shortly after that just cause you know he had to lose. This feud can either help him or hurt him it all depends on how far WWE is willing to go with Cesaro.

Disagree the booking helped both men, Christian had started to slip in recent weeks so needed a good win, but Cesaro attacking him post-match keeps his heat and maybe sets up a summerslam match.

To answer your question Troy the reason they teased a world title main event imo was to attract extra viewers for later in the show. I agree it was pretty lame.

This show was pretty decent just suffered from a lack of action.

YES!, NO! IDK ANYMORE. I just know he's over

Opening promo with Del Rio/Sheamus/Book Man was mehh nothing special but my favorite part was when Booker tells Del Rio that if he takes him to court, there can't be a title match. :lmao

The Rhodes/Cara match didn't last long i think it was 4 minutes which was a shame. The story was Cody focused on removing Sin's mask, which lead to Sin getting a rollup victory. I remember when a certain WS mark said Cody would be world champ by now 8D

Daniel 'FUCKING' Bryan walking aroung backstage shouting NO!!! then he comes to the ring, cuts a promo. KANE comes out then AJ comes out and ruins the whole thing. The "YES!" chants were crazy tonight.

Hawkins/Reks and Booker promo was a mess. So Jinder gets half a jobber entrance but then squashes 2 jobbers in 40 seconds to send a message to THE RYBACK. C'MON what was strange to me was the other jobber doesn't get into the match and the ref is on the other side of the submission when jobber one taps. Just a fucking mess.

Y2J is officially back. UGH!!!!! I preferred '08 Jericho but i guess he wanted something different. I wasn't a fan of Vickie speaking for Dolph because he can hold his own on the mic so i don't get why vickie had to do it. Anyway this leads to Dolph trying to cheap-shot Jericho, but it fails. Once Dolph is down, Vickie slaps Jericho. Y2J turns around, but ends up getting hit with the Zig Zag. It picked up at the end but still nothing to get excited about but i am pumped for the SummerSlam match.

Piss Time Playaz/Primo and the other one was a waste of 2 minutes that could of been used for better things The finish comes when AW splashes the ultimate weapon at Kofi Kingston and R-Truth (Who were doing commentary). The tag champs attack the PTP, meaning they win the match via DQ. CHEAP FINISH!!!!

A decent 5 minute Christian/Antonio match, i really liked what i saw here since Antonio got to show more of his skills. I also didn't mind Christian getting the win Christian is the veteran, while Antonio is the young, up-and-comer in the eyes of the WWE. After the match, Cesaro pushed Christian off the top rope while he was celebrating, and then follows that with a running slam into the barricade. :y:

Booker and Eve in a backstage scene. Kaitlyn wants a job, so Booker gives her an assistant job. Eve complains, so Booker makes a match. Kaitlyn vs Eve, where the winner gets the assistant position. :lmao

Miz/Rey was solid enough to make me not mind Miz was in the ring with a chubby Rey. Just sucks that it was another short match which is the theme tonight. I didn't like the rollup win for the face cause it made Rey's in look like a fluke but it also opens the door for a Rey/Miz feud which could be good for Miz only if Rey gets back into shape.

So this is suppose to be a world title match but Ricardo payed off a crew of Police men to attack Sheamus. Del Rio then takes down Sheamus after the brutal assault. The show ends with Del Rio standing tall. So, it was obvious that Del Rio set up Sheamus from the get go. I like the build going into the match. I'm really like this Del Rio charecter when he's not talking about Destiny and is in full violent mode.

Well Hatred is stupid for thinking Cody would be champ now, I though December at the earliest, and the more time goes on the later I expect him to win the title. I will be writing an article/discussion topic regarding Cody Rhodes and it's up now in fact. I will comment on the rest of Smackdown later.

Simple because it gives Dolph more heat refusing to appear and getting his manager to do the talking also it makes the sneak attack more heelish.

It wasn't Hatred.

Yeah i got why in the end, i just would of preferred a Dolph/Jericho interaction.

Hatred would have changed his opinion five times on Cody Rhodes in this same time period.

Oh yeah, I remember that muppet. He made me shake my head and he was probably the guy which made the genuinine Cody fans get hate because he was a stupid mark. Cody has potential but it will be a while until he wins the big one imo. Chad was probs just gay for him.

Cody is 26 years old, he doesn't need to be in the main event now, he'll get there soon enough. I wanted him and Christian to have an epic feud over the IC title, but of course that wasn't happening.

That ending angle made zero sense to me. If Del Rio has a title match why would you purposely fuck it up for yourself. Just totally fell flat on me.

I said about the same in the Del Rio/Sheamus thread since I did as much explaining why I didn't like it as they did explaining what they were doing.
