That’s been my point. Outside the initial Wyatt stuff and that match with Orton, she’s been doing a whole lot of nothing. And she’s also had a lot of random absences from the ring. Not counting the pregnancy.

There was a tweet she made during one of them where she publicly said she had no idea why she wasn’t on television.

Exactly. My enthusiasm for Bliss kinda evaporated in those four years. To the point I wouldn’t even be broken up if she retired to stay with her family. Which is just crazy when she was my favorite female performer 8 years ago.

Bliss was probably the top female heel from 2016-2018. So much so that all the female babyfaces looked like geeks against her(Bayley, Sasha,Nia). Now that's not her fault but I just remember being over her. So for as much as Smark loved that era, I just rolled my eyes every time she won the title.

I will say though, she was the perfect person to drop the belt to Ronda Rousey

I remember all the groaning, but I personally loved it. Because it was different from what the WWE usually does. The WWE tactic is usually a dominant babyface champion humiliating the entire heel locker room. Heels made to look like idiots. It’s literally the exact same thing they usually do but they flipped the script on it with the heel actually looking superior. It helped that her character had the crowds in the palms of her hands. The night she won the title at the elimination chamber she managed to get them to react to her babyface speech before turning heel midway and got them to turn on her on a dime and got insane heat.

For the record, I don’t think you would have to re-create the actual humiliating of the babyfaces to make her character work in 2024.

I’m fine if it never comes to pass because quite honestly Liv Morgan is actually kind of a living reincarnation of that currently. Her character work has come along way and the fact that she’s actually managed to get the best of Rhea on a significant basis of the storyline is just a breath of fresh air and I love it.

Also, Bayley’s subsequent heel character and her current babyface character are so much better than her 2017 hugger stuff and her defeats to Bliss played a decent part in her change.

I love Alexa and all but the talent level of the women in WWE is higher than it’s ever been with the all the ringers coming up from NXT as well. She might just be a midcard talent from now on

Well in my book, being entertaining and having a personality is far more important than putting on 5 star matches. Besides, this statement kinda contradicts HHH saying "We're making movies".
