Saw both of these when I was scrolling Twitter in bed last night and was pretty shocked at both of them tbh. Wendy feels like she's been gone for an absolute eternity and I still thought Wes was months away at the earliest.

Great to see them both return. Wes is especially talented. Wendy, even if I'm not one for her gimmick, still sucks to be injured.

Though admittedly, I thought Wendy was released with how long it has been and the fact she is a 2.0 character-

I will say this, and I’m not sure how I’d do it, but I kinda want Wes to lose the match for the NA Title, and then to win the NXT Championship. Only problem is Trick JUST WON IT, so it’s like I don’t want to be a short run for Trick, but damn I wanna see Wes as the top champ of NXT, ya know?

Yeah that can't happen for a good while yet, they gotta put all their eggs into the Trick basket and solidify him as the next big guy. Given his recent serious injury, it's probably best to have him put up a valiant effort against Oba and then have some good non-title feuds while they see how he gets on.

I’m fine with that. I just wanna see him get a run with the top title on the brand, before he moves to Raw or Smackdown. So if I need to wait awhile, so be it.

It could be possible that he gets it after Trick but I wouldn't be hanging my hat on it. I reckon had he not got injured he would have been drafted this year.

Yeah his timeline for return was at minimum at least 3 more months. Was 8-12, came back in 5.
