"HBK/Taker and HHH/Sheamus."... IMO

@ XBA... I didn't say I liked the idea... Just that it is the most simple and obvious option and I think that by virtue of that, it's also very likely sooner or later.

As for 2002... Nah, check the fine print, there has never been a DX-split stroyline.

1997/8: Shawn left the company
2002: A DX reformation was merely teased.
2006/7: HHH got injured.

Its still a cliche way to turn HHH heel. I would love to see HHH/Sheamus but the question is Sheamus going to keep the title and back Cena off for a little while or will there be an actual rivalry not off the basis of a title shot

him turning on Shawn is the lowest common denominator way to split DX.

...Got that? G-r-e-e-e-e-e-a-t. Now, was their a point lurking beneath the surface of your ill conceived 'contradiction'?

The bottom line for Cena this year at Mania is this. If he's not in a title match in some way, shape or form I really don't have the slightest idea what the hell they could possibly do with him. Every other one of these main eventers has possible fall backs if they're not in a title match. I mean, not that I would miss Cena in the slightest... but you know 90% of the audience and Vince's wallet would.
I'm really scared that we may even see Cena in MITB this year. And we all know what would happen in that case.

Im 100% for Cena/Taker, HHH/Sheamus, HBK/Vince/Hart (something involving them)

I wish people would stop saying shit like that when we're about 2 weeks out from the Rumble and we still don't have a suspected card for that.

@Noum: I think MM3000 just meant what he'd like to see out of what's been speculated about at this juncture.

So what you think Orton's gonna be up to by Mania then... The prospect of vs Kofi at this point is just unthinkable.... I think we're infinitely more likely to see Orton in MITB (or more poiniently A MULTIMAN MATCH) before we're likely to see Cena in one.... In fact putting all of Legacy in MITB all gunning for the same title shot could be sweet from a storyline point of view (Afteral they need to do something to light the fuse... Seemingly Orton treating Ted & Cody like shit with no reward whilst they earn from little to no respect from their 'mentor' apparently isn't enough.)

TBH, I want Taker/Cena the most out of the match-ups I could somewhat rationally predict, but I really do think we'll see HHH do a 'build him but still win' job on Seamus and unless we get a rematch from last year, what the hell IS HBK gonna do?

Orton will undoubtedly be involved in some form a Legacy split this year at Mania where we'll most likely see him solidify Ted as a face, or possibly even both Ted and Cody as faces. Them being in MITB would be pretty cool, but almost be a dead give away that one of them would be leaving with the briefcase.
This has to be done right because simply doing Ted vs Orton would just spit right in the face of Cody.

I'm still down for Cena/Taker at this point over HBK/Taker part II.

I think they should have like Ted eliminate Orton in the Rumble then start the legacy split angle eventually leading towards Ted/Orton at mania. I still can't figure out what role Rhodes can actually take part in besides continuing to be Orton's lackey until hopefully he gets drafted to SD

I just want Edge to fight Jericho at Wm 26 that is all i care about. Although im a hardcore Orton fan i think its to predictable with him and ted.

I was thinking something similar... Ted eliminates Orton from the Rumble match. Tension starts to build between the two of them with Cody stuck in the middle of it all. Ted and Orton both end up in the elimination chamber match. Orton eliminates Ted from the chamber setting up Orton/Ted for Mania. I guess Cody could be inserted into the MITB match. I'd personally leave Cody as a heel through the whole ordeal and just draft one or two of the Legacy members apart after Mania.

^^^ That is exactly how i see it going down. I think Cody will be the tweener torn between the two but stays heel.

Ted probably has a one on one match with Cody first then Cody just helps interfere and build for the match
