It always helps when your new manager is the brands head writer. I expect Tyson Kidd to be used a lot more on Smackdown now that Hayes is his manager. I wonder what Hayes looks like these days?

Can't wait to see this.

I'm a huge Tyson Kidd mark and think that given the right opportunity I think he could prove WWE right for giving him a push.

I think he's one of the best actual wrestlers that WWE has to offer. I'm just hoping they give him an IC title belt reign to let him see what he can do with a mid-card title.

I always would have liked to have seen Tyson win the ECW belt back in the day to see what he could do as the face of a brand, but Christian held onto that thing for damn near a year it seemed.

Either way, I love this.

Really interesting. Kidd and Sin Cara put on a hell of a match, and when you compare it to the Cara / Primo match you can see just how good Kidd is. I've been a fan of his work ever since his debut and I hope he's given a great spot, which is hard to believe isn't going to happen with Michael Hayes in his corner. Hopefully he'll learn something from Hayes as well and improve on the mic.
It'll be hard to mess this one up, so I have high hopes from this news.

Yeah I can see what they are trying to do with this certainly Haynes back in his day was one of the brightest talkers, and just by hanging out with him Kidd might learn a lot of good stuff. Part of the issue might be if Haynes still has enough name value to have much impact on his career. At least it is something different.

This should be the start of WWE re-introducing the role of managers. They are a great way to get guys over who can wrestle but struggle when they have to talk for more than thirty seconds. The manager can do the talking for them and create the interest in the feud.

Michael Hayes, Vickie Guerrero and Michael Cole should all be heel managers for wrestlers. Hell bring back Matt Striker as a manager since he isn't doing much these days other than "hosting" NXT.

I haven't watched NXT in a couple seasons but I thought Maryse was hosting NXT from what I read?

They both host the show, yes NXT is that important it needs two hosts. Maryse is also involved in a storyline where the contestants keep trying to hit on her and she rejects them.

Haha oh, I had no idea.

I was wondering what Striker does since he's never on TV anymore. I'm wondering if we'll see him future endeavored whenever cuts come.

Just hearing about Striker makes me think of this:

I was at the MITB PPV last year in KC and was in the first row behind the announcers, Cole, Striker, Lawler. Someone in back of me yelled that they had sex with his sister, and he just turned looked at them and gave them a thumbs up. I lol'd

I can't see Matt Striker being cut. He is too valuable as a future commentator, he is still very young and is there as a back-up at the moment. Plus he can do the backstage interviews and do other minor things like host NXT until a spot opens up on the announce table. WWE need to have back-ups just incase someone leaves or has a bad run.

Well I just don't really think they need him considering they have so much talent right now in terms of announcers/interviewers. Scott Stanford or whatever his name is is someone who could more than fill his role.
