I've enjoyed swerve reign so far n I would have only found it lackluster had he lost. Thankfully that match is behind him n he can continue to focus on the elite etc

Also back to swerve, he faced Joe to win, Christian then ospreay (his 3 ppvs matches ). While I get Christian was never winning, the feud n match was good. It's been a pretty good reign imo.

This. Swerve just has an aura about him that feels so different than everyone else. I was so happy to see him get a huge win over one of the best talents in the World now he can destroy the Elite and face Okada down the road.

I also think.AEW needs to lean on these ospreay v swerve top guy vs top.guy more on the title scene in general. Way too many times they've done midcard challengers until the very obvious roadblock/next champ. Ospreay losing was great for this. Everyone thought it was gonna be will at wembley n sometimes its good to not give in to fantasy booking. It's why I liked mjf vs switchblade so much as a feud even if ppl generally disliked the booking of the match itself
