At tonight's TNA Long Island house show, Mick Foley officially debuted, making a brief speech saying he believed in TNA and loved the product. He hammed it up with the crowd and said he hoped to make an "iMPACT!". Foley received a big reaction from his hometown fans and led them in chanting the names of his youngest sons, who were in attendance.

Foley came out to his old school "Born to be Wild" theme music from his early days on the indy scene.

YAY!

I'm surprised Foley didn't do a speech down-talking the Double Double E like so many others who have jumped ship. You could argue they made his career, but they've done it for others and they've still bad mouthed them

TNA is just way too impatient lol. The next appearance that he'll make will probably be at the No Surrender PPV

yea I thnk they made this come too fast - possibly build it up slowly woudl be best one week at a time with "Have a nice day" Promo's on the screen... Instead of just HERE I AM LOOK AT ME!

I'm speaking too soon maybe, but Foley is above that. The only place I've really ever heard him bad mouth was WCW, and with good reason. Even then it wasn't as much bad mouthing as pointing out the obvious. The guy is too nice.

That's great news, although he is all broken and can't wrestle this should be interesting to see.. something like a managing role will do good for him. Finally we're going to see TNA do something with Mick.

They should have made this more of a surprise thing. instead of being so happy like a little kid and jumping the gun putting the smiley on there site and letting reports out that he had signed with them.

but with that said i am very glad Foley has come to TNA.
