We have info regarding a match at WrestleMania XXV, and it came from a rather unlikely source. As reported earlier, a number of WWE stars appeared on VH1's Top 20 Countdown show this morning. One of the guests was Big Show, and he revealed his plans for WrestleMania XXV.

During an interview with Big Show, the host asked him about his plans for Wrestlemania. Big Show told the host the show will hold a unique main event featuring Big Show, John Cena and Edge "in a triple threat match for the World title."

In another move that probably won't please Vince McMahon, for whatever reason, VH1 actually displayed a picture of Chris Benoit winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania XX after showing images of John Cena and Edge (which were displayed when Big Show mentioned them).

During the show, Big Show did his impression of Hulk Hogan, introducing Beyonce's Single Ladies music video.

It's pretty strange he would go out and say that, and actually, I'm kinda pissed. It was kinda predictable that match would happen, butI wasn't 100 % sure. I wanted to see it play out... Oh well

I still think it'll be Cena vs Edge. I'm 100% sure of this now, as Show is not going to make it into the Main Event after unleashing spoilers on live TV.

But, I think this is fake. Show isn't stupid enough to do that, I read Vince is trying to plant false stories to stop leaks, so he probably told Big Show to say it and throw people off track.

Either way, it's Edge vs Cena.

Then why did you go to a news site and click on a link that would have had a similar title to which you put here?

Yeah, I read that too. It seems odd that Show would leak a title match like that that he's in for mania. He hasn't been in a World title match at mania in how long?

But I thought that after the announcement on RAW that'd it'd be Show vs Edge for the title, that Cena would get in and make it a 3-way some way.

Because I'm a weak human being who can't resist the temptation, obviously... No, seriously, it's because when I went to the site, I couldn't help but see the title "Big Show reveals John Cena's wwe WM25 match", or something like that, which makes it pretty obvious what it is he spoiled. If you see that title, stating Big Show is spoiling Cena's match, it's pretty much conclusive it'll be about a triple threat between those 3.

I read that too, that actually makes a bit of sense. Time will tell.

its entirely possible that since the show was pre-taped they originally planned to have it already announced at this point that it would be a triple threat, but do to booking and time constraints part of the angle has been pushed back.

I also agree that it will be Cena vs Edge, possibly with TBS involved as a special enforcer or referee. I think the thing with Vickie crying this week will somehow lead to the above happening.

And if the reported match will happen, rofl at Big SHow for being such a dumbass.

How so? Many superstars have spoiled things not involving them. He could have said Jericho was facing Cena.

Just erase everything other than the first sentence/whatever of your post and you're actually telling the truth.

There you go, much more truthful.

I really don't know how you can see any scenario with Big Show not being in the title match tbh, especially after this week.

Anyways, meh, if it's true, WWE probably told him what to say, so there won't be any problems. I even think they did it on purpose, to spark some interest over ticket sales by revealing a match. They could even have used it to get some more views for Raw and SD.

I think its brilliant that the WWE is going with their prevention of leaks policies. It's caused simple leaks like this to throw the smark community in speculative debate, second guessing EVERY possible scenario because it may be too obvious or it may be on purpose just to swerve us. So now everyone just ends up saying "we will have to wait and see" so in effect, WWE has been able to finally effectively keep the surprise factor into all of its major angles. Glorious ploy.

Big Show winning the title at Mania would be the most non-existant fan reaction ever. Orton is pretty much a lock to win the WWE Title imo....therefore we need a face to win the other title...Cena.
