Of course it's subjective, welcome to an internet wrestling forum. This place is meant for wrestling fans to post their opinions and I believe that is what we have done. Your latter statement is compeltely untrue also. I have not been a fan from the beginning but a nice swerve or an interesting development CAN get me interested. As I said before, if Bully was revealed as the leader I would definitely be interested in this story. What is there for me to be interested in at the moment?
The group is based on guys who always lose attacking random people. The group has no star power and is mostly revolved around old stars who no one cares about. Throughout this story that has been the focal point of TNA for a while now, absolutely nothing has drawn me and many others it seems in to invest in this storyline.
So one swerve that wasn't predicted for one reason (because it's Blue) means the whole story is now unpredictable? I'm pretty sure we had users calling Wes and Garrett in Aces & Eights since day one. The Devon swerve was a slight swerve, but again, that was incredibly disappointing. Luke Gallows and Knox were also names we had called since day one. Do you notice a pattern here though? None of those names above are relevant or entertaining at all, they suck charisma like a hover and no one gives a shit about them. This is the big bad ass group that we -- as fans -- are supposed to emotionally invest in? A bunch of old former WWE employees?
This group had the potential to be great. I don't know why you're arguing with people's opinion of this group when it is just that, their opinion. Furthermore, the reasons they are giving are completely logical. If you are predicting almost every single event with the biggest thing in the company right now; you are going to find it boring. If you despise the group members they have chosen -- or don't find them entertaining -- then once again you are going to find the story boring. We are allowed to complain about it because TNA has really butchered themselves with the booking of this story (in many of ours opinion).
Exactly...
Wait a minute, you're optimistic about Garrett being a heel because he is the son of a great heel? I know you don't watch NXT but this is the same as me having to mark for Richie Steamboat because he is the son of a WWE legend. No, I won't mark for him, the guy has no charisma and is as boring as Garrett. I don't want to see neither of these characters on my screen. Eric is one of the greatest heels yes, but he also had the heel look and possessed incredible mic skills. You can't put neither of accolades those on Garrett's résumé .
I have to give him a chance as he is going to be shoved down our throats with this shitty storyline, and as always I will be neutral with my opinion on him (I'm allowed to stereotype), but if he is bad I will rant my tits off. I hope he won't be bad, and if he isn't I'll hold my hands up and admit it, but I certainly do not feel optimistic when I watch TNA at the moment.
Listen dude, you just almost succeeded to completely make the wrong point about I wrote and why I wrote it. Almost (hence some here are calling the ignoramus of TNA, I think).
Anyway, to cut the bullshit, you wrote this:
Will you be surprised if Eric returns and is the "leader" of this group of no-names? How predictable and boring is that? I'm glad you find it entertaining Testify, but at this point, I'm sure you will find anything in TNA entertaining lol.
When did I say anything about this storyline being entertaining? It's OK since Taz turned a few weeks back, but that's it. I didn't, you just somehow jumped to a fucking conclusion based on your "everything is either white or black" mentality. And lol at that last pathetic sentence, really shows your weak character.
So, you call Devon & Taz old? Fine, they are (for the wrestling business), b/c they're over 40. Agreed.
But you called DOC (30), Knoxx (35), and the rest of the group (probably under 30) old? I'll tell ya, if this forum is still alive when you're in your early 30s and I'm still around, I'll call you "washed up old guy". I seriously will.
So you say you're "allowed to stereotype"? WTF do you think you are dude?
And the rest of your post eh... Well, it's really something special. But I find these these "arguments" laughable:
So one swerve that wasn't predicted for one reason (because it's Blue) means the whole story is now unpredictable?
- Lol you.:facepalm1:
What is there for me to be interested in at the moment?
Yet he bitches about it constantly. Don't watch dude.
Again, your opinion, doesn't mean it's a fact, like you love to tell and write to us.
To get to the bottom line of this whole shite, let me make myself and my standings on the group perfectly clear:
- Aces & Eights is OK since Taz turned
- Wes & Garett turning was predictable, but good and logic booking
- predictable > Russotastic
- give heel Garett the chance (not b/c Eric is his blood, but because he's a fucking Bischoff's kid)
- starpower? Wait for the VP and President to be revealed (unless you consider Anderson a star)
- the whole angle had some terrible booking behind it, but lol... I can't bitch about it the WHOLE time, the group is better. Slightly, but slightly...
And one last thing:
- Crayo (the biggest WWE mark/biggest TNA ignoramus on the site) wants to argue about TNA? Make sure you talk to Rain, Seabs, Stopspot, R'Albin and/or Leo C next time, in case you want some actual arguments for a good debate (not personal BS), as I don't care if this is a forum or a public house, because each time I have some "wrestling issue" with them, it's real easy to chat with them. Why? They have something to back it up and know what they're talking about. But you... :george:
I rest my case with this, it's been a pleasure Crayo. I respect each and every opinion on here (well, 95% of them), but for the love of god, don't be stereotypical clowns and assess like some, if you get my whole point (aka not trying to convert like Crayo lol).
