I never actually thought about it but it's true that Tom Holland's Spider-Man always had a co-star in every solo movie he did (Stark, Fury, Strange).
Time for him to get his own now. I hope they get a better director too because the action scenes in those movies got nothing on Sam Raimi's.
Seriously most of the action scenes in the original trilogy are better than what we have had in the MCU so far.
In terms of direction I have to disagree, it lacks some truly iconic shots such as Doc Ock vs Tobey on the train or Harry on the board-glider vs Tobey. It was a cool scene but Raimi really knows how to get you invested in the fights:the final battle in No Way Home is better than the Raimi movies imo.
Actually I was wrong about the final fight. If anything, the Norman/Peter fight from NWH was better than the raimi movies.
