There is a lot of speculation among fans that WWE may be bringing back the European Title for Lana and Rusev, who is the current United States Champion. The European Title was retired back in 2002.

Lana posted an Instagram photo of the European Title with the new WWE logo but quickly deleted it this weekend. She posted it with a "#RAW" hashtag. Below is the photo:

Could be a nice little heat segment if they dropped the US Title in the trash :mark:

Russia isn't part of Europe, would make them look like blueberries if they did that. Either make it a Russian belt or just start an easy feud with Dolph as unify the titles at Mania or something.

They are in Europe, EU, UEFA and everything.

Too many titles anyway.

No, see I always thought they were part of Europe but they don't count for reasons that escape me now. Rusev holding the U.S. Title is perfect no need to bring Euro title back.

Russia is part of Europe and Asia, but I didn't think they were a member of EU. I'll take Cork's word for it though

About a quarter of Russia is in Europe. And all of Bulgaria is in Europe. Add them together and he's approximately 125% European, so they could make it make sense.

According to google Russia isn't part if the EU and I pretty much figured they see themselves as their own continent so Europe/Asia "where it technically belongs" isn't a real argument they have. But I'm not Russian so what do I know.

Either Russian title or nothing, European tile meant nothing and will never mean anything.

Didn't they do that in like... WWE '12 or something? That "European Union" storyline or something, someone won the US title, brought back the European title?

That was a cool storyline. WWE even made the theme music for that stable and shit lol.

Regal should be, and at the time, I didn't mind Drew. If they could have done something with him, he'd be great. Great finisher lol.

Thought it was called the United Kingdom and even in the game the Sheamus and Drew promos were bad by their standards.

I doubted it when the news broke and I still doubt it now. It was probably a game to get the marks hyped up.
