Orton does chinlocks a lot? Umm hello so does everyone else(heels) and i can think of a few stars who use it more than he does. Hes a heel right? So as a heel you slow down the match up and get the face up from the chinlock by cheering him and there you a few moves then after that. What iam saying is when orton was a face he hardly did the chinlock thing. If you know wrestling like i do you will understand that heels use moves like that to get heel heat from the crowd. Orton is a gifted athlete in the ring he has one of the best dropkicks in the wwe and his arsenal of moves all come out depending on his opponent. If you watch his matches with hbk,angle and hh you will see what i mean. So SOULPOWER heels use submission moves on the faces to get the fans reactions going. If you was a wrestling fan you would know that.

Damn right. Finally orton will win the title i have waited way to fucking long.

Me also plus if he wins it at summerslam then loses it at survivor series then he gets the belt for 3 months. Iam happy about that cause his 1 month reign last time was a disgrace.

How can people say Orton sucks? He is the best young superstar they have in WWE. Sure his attitude isn't the best at times, but hopefully he has sorted it out now. If he keeps his attitude in check, he will be a Legend someday. He has great in-ring ability, and in my opinion deserves the title.

I honestly don't know why a lot of you are so high on Orton. He had SOME appeal when he won the belt from Benoit, but since mid-2005 his matches and pretty much all of his promos have been bland - AT BEST. I don't understand how anyone can have so many fans for doing absolutely nothing. Orton can't get it together backstage, in the ring, or on the mic, Randy Orton = hack.

What has Shelley done? Besides being regarded as one of the best in ring performers today, having fantastic matches, getting on national television, and holding more titles than I can recall, but yea Shelley hasn't done anything.......

Anyway, this isn't about Shelley, it's about how Orton doesn't deserve to clean Dusty Rhodes' boots much less have a match with him. Like I said he had some intriguing qualities when he had the title, but besides that Orton has shown me nothing. Also let's look at what Orton has done in the last 3 years, hmmmmm he's been Tag Champ with Edge, had crap matches with Hogan, Taker, Flair, RVD, Mysterio, and tons more. His promos are for the most part exactly the same "I am Randy Orton THE legend killer, and I'm gonna end your career just like I did with....blah blah blah". Not to mention his backstage attitude, this guy is not a deserving WWE champion, and should be jobbing in ECW, not being considered for a WWE title run.

I dont think you have seen all his matches then plain and simple. His amtches with rvd have been good. TAKER matches and rey matches have also been good. You aint got to be an orton fan to see that.

One thing I would like to know is why the hell are you policing this thread with responses to everyone like 2 minutes after they post defending Orton? Orton IMO isn't horrible, but pretty close to it. I'm honestly tired of all the Orton marks who think Orton is the best thing going when in actuality he's a hack that's lazy in the ring, and on the mic.

Pardon me if I'm wrong, but didn't soulpower, who started this thread, also say that Orton as a champ was a bad idea? Again, why do you reply 5 minutes after I post, honestly just because some people say some negative things about one of your favorite wrestlers doesn't mean you should go on a crusade to defend him.
