- Memo to Kurt Angle.

Not all thoughts need to be expressed verbally.

In other words…

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Don’t get me wrong. I like a guy who speaks his mind. Nothing wrong with that.

But when it starts to affect your image and the company you work for, you need to choose your words more carefully, Kurt.

His talk about joining MMA has been just that. Talk. No action. No movement towards a career transition. Just what is becoming incessant yapping about how he could succeed in MMA.

Blah, blah, frickin’ blah.

In addition to his pending jump to UFC or whoever will have him, Angle has outright ripped TNA for too many gimmick matches. Then, he took a breath and said how he is going to let his contract run out so he can start his career in -- you guessed it -- MMA!

On ripping the company, justified or not, it makes no sense to criticize the very company you work for in such a harsh fashion. It’s not good for business. Dissension by a top wrestler in TNA will lead to dissension in the locker room. No one says he needs to follow Russo booking as if it were gospel. But, if he has a problem, go to Dixie Carter or, here’s an idea, Russo himself.

Whining via public airwaves is not uncommon, but it is untoward. TNA is a company still struggling to make its mark. They have come along away, but have a longer way to go before they are considered on the level of WWE. You shooting off his mouth does not help. It hurts. You were brought into the company to be part of a solution. Quit being part of the problem.

As far as allowing your contact run out, TNA has made an investment in you and a large one at that. When you signed, you were considered a risk due to a checkered past. Dare I say the powers-that-be want you to stay beyond your first contract? Implying that you are not going to consider negotiating a contract gives pause to TNA to push you.

I recognize that your Olympic Gold medals were a solo accomplishment. But you were still part of a team. You need to recognize that now. Yes, you are the most high-profile TNA star right now. That makes you a leader. So, if you’re a leader, lead… and by example. You start ranting and raving about MMA, gimmick matches or contract non-negotiations sets a piss-poor example.

You wear a mouthpiece in the ring, Kurt. Time for you to wear a gag outside of it.

That was good advice, Kurt needs to listen to that :good:

EDIT: Steve Anderson is the birth name of American professional wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin!

Kurt Angle made some good points in his interview, but I have to agree with this guy. Kurt should try and find a solution to the problem instead of just whining about it. He should go to Russo and have a nice long discussion about the booking in TNA, maybe that will cause some change.

Honestly, I think most of Kurt's interviews are works, even his gimmick-bashing ones. Trying to attract attention through controversy.

But if those interviews are real, then yeah, Kurt, read that.

Why does Austin even care? If Angle is ruining his image, let him. It's his own choice so I don't see why Austin should give a shit what someone else does.

I can't believe people didn't know his real name. Or am I just the only one that knows useless wrestler names like Mark Calaway, Glen Jacobs, Paul White. I know I have no life =[
