seabs said:Not only that how long does Kane have left? He's mid 40s himself so as a full time guy he's gotta have 5 years max in the tank, why people would want to waste the streak on that I'll never know. Now if this was debut Kane arriving in 2013 it would be perfect IMO.
Some even want to see it again even if Kane doesn't win. It was kinda funny last year when some (not here, but just different places) was lukewarm to the idea of Taker/HHH Part 3, yet many people's suggestion in place of it was Undertaker/Kane Part 3. I count three different articles I read on the subject of the streak over at Bleacher's Report where they said the streak shouldn't end, but IF it ever does, it should be Kane that ends it. Mind boggling.
In regards to Kane's retirement, I think he's got only 2-3 years left. There were rumors of Kane retiring back in 2010 and I think if he did with his feud with Undertaker late in the year, it would have been appropriate. They fought in a HIAC match at the PPV of the same name, exactly 13 years (considered an unlucky number, appropriate for this feud, kinda like when Orton said Taker's streak would end at WM21 because he was his 13th opponent) to the month after Kane debuted in the company by attacking the Undertaker in the first ever hell in a cell match! Everyone thought Taker would win the belt from Kane in that match, even though he didn't. If you look at the PPV dates of Bad Blood 1997 and HIAC 2010, it's even the same Sunday on the position on the calendar. Point being, if Kane had hung it up after a loss to Taker there, it would have been as full circle for his career as could be.
