Yeah, I thought this would have been a great time for Sandow to cash in his briefcase. However, he's had no momentum as of late. He's been losing a lot and they really haven't built him up much at all. Either they're going to start giving him more of a push now or he'll turn over his briefcase to someone else (probably Rhodes).
I'm still thinking he'll get the belt and lose it Rhodes at somepoint, though honestly i'd be happier if the situation was reversed as I much prefer Sandow over Cody.

Everyone gets buried before cashing in MITB, not pushed.
I guess it makes sense.. makes it more surprising when they finally do if everyone's forgotten that they even had the MITB
Dolph's beat me to it. Remember how much Daniel Bryan was winning before he cashed in MITB on Big Show? I sure do...I also remember how much people were bitching that he was getting buried prior to cashing in (they had a point...he was basically buried prior to his cash-in).
So, his "push status" really has nothing to do with whether or not he cashes in, which probably means they're saving it so he has it when Cody returns, no doubt leading to it becoming a storyline point between them. Also, figure the ADR-RVD feud isn't completely over yet and they figure ADR needs the title for the feud to mean something (since that's why RVD's interested in fighting Del Rio).
From a kayfabe viewpoint (since Dolph's insists on the kayfabe stuff), he was no doubt worried about cashing in while RVD was still in the ring and obviously pissed off. Since RVD's after the title (and not a personal grudge win over ADR), RVD might very well have seen his opportunism as a reason to stop him.
