It was perfect. Loved that whole segment. It was sick and disgusting and I loved every second of it. :gusta:

Heyman is best guy to do fake heart attacks. He should put that as one of skills. :true:

For a guy without a heart, Heyman is pretty good at faking heart attacks :eek:tunga:

Ah some people might consider it as over the line, but i personally dont really take this kind of stuff too seriously when it comes to morals, and stuff, i tune in to be entertained by a great product, and having been my first raw in about two years, i have to say i enjoyed throughly what i saw.

Loved it. " Paul you almost gave me a heart attack" had me laughing at a point.

Heyman thinks that's funny.

I guess he's trying to make fun of my King.

My opinion on this is pretty much agreeing with everyone. It was dark and sick and twisted and that's what they wanted Punk to be. Punk AND Heyman. At first, I didn't really know what to think, mostly because of the actual footage of the incident all going down. I mean... who the hell says "oh hey, film him getting a heart attack"? That part I thought was a tad bit disrespectful, but hey, consent of the King is consent of the King. They didn't release the footage until Jerry came back.

And honestly, everyone who's probably taken aback or was sick to their stomach watching Punk and Heyman that night probably hasn't seen ECW, which was ran by Heyman. Pretty much, the only line ECW hadn't cross was having a wrestler kill another wrestler, so that whole show got scrapped eventually.

My question is... why are they still doing the PG thing? Pushing that whole Linda McMahon thing aside, having a sick and twisted character such as Punk definitely would not be PG IMO.

Pure scumbag heels are needed. There needs to be at least one bad guy with no redeemable features.

Look at Steen over in Ring of Honor. Pure scumbag heel but so delightful to watch.

I assume by PG you mean kid-friendly, as it is not really the PG rating itself which makes WWE such a bad product at the moment. People need to remember that SmackDown has always been PG, we do not need TV-14 to be entertained.

However, I agree that this angle with Punk, Heyman and Lawler was NOT something they would have pursued should Linda have won her campaign OR was running for a third time; this was something that could CERTAINLY be used against her and more effectively too.

This is only good news. Look at how much buzz this angle has received -- good or bad -- and apparently it did well in the ratings so I hope WWE take more risks now Linda's campaign is over. This is what I meant when I said Linda running for senate obviously had an effect and her losing would have one too. It is not the sole reason why WWE is sucking but it is a rather large chunk of it, but let's be optimistic about the bright future.
