My opinion on this is pretty much agreeing with everyone. It was dark and sick and twisted and that's what they wanted Punk to be. Punk AND Heyman. At first, I didn't really know what to think, mostly because of the actual footage of the incident all going down. I mean... who the hell says "oh hey, film him getting a heart attack"? That part I thought was a tad bit disrespectful, but hey, consent of the King is consent of the King. They didn't release the footage until Jerry came back.
And honestly, everyone who's probably taken aback or was sick to their stomach watching Punk and Heyman that night probably hasn't seen ECW, which was ran by Heyman. Pretty much, the only line ECW hadn't cross was having a wrestler kill another wrestler, so that whole show got scrapped eventually.
My question is... why are they still doing the PG thing? Pushing that whole Linda McMahon thing aside, having a sick and twisted character such as Punk definitely would not be PG IMO.
