Personally I think it is the best thing that WWE has produced for ages. They have finally created an absolutely sick bastard of a heel character in Punk, and god dammit can he play it well. Referring to Lawler's heart attack as a 'stunt', saying that Lawler's death was irrelevant and that the only number that mattered was 358, honestly, just gold. Then Foley came out and cut a contender for promo of the year. Seriously, he must be one of the most underrated mic workers of all time, genuinely gave me goosebumps when he started shouting 'He was dead!'. There was so much passion in what he was saying, it felt so genuine, Punk was literally left with no response, the promo was just so damn good.

Heyman, Lawler, Punk and especially Foley were all magnificent IMO, what's your thoughts though?

It was disgusting. I felt ashamed to watch it. It was so desperate to draw heat to the whole thing.

It was absolutely disgusting.

That's fair enough. How come? IMO Jerry consenting made it perfectly okay to; I'm one of these people who tries to turn everything bad that has happened to me into a joke - so maybe he feels the same way?

Death isn't really something to joke about.

They all may have consented to it, but it was just a fucking stupid move by WWE.

Vince has lost it.

But it wasn't technically death and besides, if you want to see it as that, it was JERRY'S death that CM Punk and Heyman were mocking, which he obviously gave them permission to.

Jerry did actually die for 15 minutes.

Yes but he's not dead, and consented to it, so surely it's okay to then?

By the way, the fact that this is even being discussed shows that WWE have achieved exactly what they were planning to in this segment.

I didn't mind the story line at all because Jerry Probably consented. The part I didn't like was the actual footage shown, could have done without that.

I definitely agree, that was really silly, why the hell were the cameras even on?

Not so much over the line but closer to the line than most segments let's say.

It was perfect. Loved that whole segment. It was sick and disgusting and I loved every second of it. :gusta:

Heyman is best guy to do fake heart attacks. He should put that as one of skills. :true:
