Just out of curiousity, when was the last time Bam Neely was used anyways?

A few weeks ago as a job guy, I think.

Lennie, that report about Val and Christian was bs.

As for the actual news, I'm shocked to see Val gone. Val was too good at making people look good. It turned him into a job guy. He had a good gimmick for when he debuted, solid wrestling and solid mic skills. He was just too good at making people look good. =/

Not surprised about Kevin Thorn. Gangrel was a cool vampire. Thorn looked stupid, wore dumb looking "raver" clothes, and had some really bad entrance theme music. He wasn't much in the ring either.

Besides, they have to make room for their new signings, and I would assume Christian Cage and Low Ki will have a significantly higher salary than any of the talent released

Low Ki's wage would be nowhere near that of Cage's. He'll be lucky to get half of what Cage is getting.

As far as making room goes, WWE always post a multi million dollar profit at each quarter. Even with the financial crisis that the world is going through, someone like Val who has done all that WWE has asked of him over a long period of time being released now comes as a shock to me.

The thing with Venis is he is good at putting people over but how can he do that when he is injured.

What is point of paying his contract if he cant get in the ring to do the job he is paid for. WWE knows he can deliver in the ring and has alot to offer but he has become injury prone and could be back for a match and then be out for another 4 months and that just isn't good for business.
